Amnesia: The Lost Family mod

That was one of the most abrupt give-up endings I think I have ever seen in a custom story. It was enjoyable until it just ends like that. You should really consider removing this story from this website until it is complete. The ending was like you simply got tired of making it so you just gave up.

Ok, i played your mod. And overall, i dont think it was bad at all. There is definite room for improvement, but it certainly doesnt deserve the rash of **** you have gotten. But like others have said, listen to the ones who are willing to give you constructive criticism, and not the ones who are just going to bash you for your efforts. Good luck in your next projects. And like i said, not a bad mod at all. I enjoyed it tbh. Just have an open mind to others who want to help you.

I'm not going to write a proper review of this mod, because I do think that you have gotten enough **** already. Instead, I will write a small review in a comment form.

Story: Very average. The notes in-mod were poorly written (does anyone write "Hahaha! Ok." to a letter?) The notes were also very hard to understand and the story itself felt totally disconnected from the millieu.

Level design: Very average as well. Filled with texture glitches (candles and papers going through a table, stair railing going through a wall, a misplaced wall in the room with the crowbar, a banner glitching into a wall). The lighting was well made though, and the whole concept of the bedroom was good.

Puzzles: Not good. The book was impossible to find, though I adore the fact that you tried to do something a bit more unique. The crowbar simply unlocked the door and that felt strange.

Scare factor: Not a bit scary, at least for me.

If this would be your first ever custom story, it would be a nice start, considered as a learning process. But unfortunately this was your fourth mod already, and in fact this is a downgrade from your third mod. That is not a good thing.

You need to learn from the criticism and improve from it. Do not rush the mods, make sure they all work properly, get beta testers and make the mods carefully. Think of the plot before you start building the mod.

Best of luck for the future projects of yours. This, unfortunately, was a big miss.

Sooooo....i been reading the comments here, and not exactly sure what is going on. All i know is, i played your custom story, or rather..TRIED to. I got the lantern, that was it, no hidden room, ...nothing. What gives? Or am i doing something wrong.
