Here is a mod that removes the lens-flare in Alien Isolation which looks completely ugly and misplaced compared to the photorealistic superb graphics, but all other beautyful light effects remain intact.

This is a great gaming reference site for PC tweaks. However, their solution is to just delete all the LENS_FLARE.bin related files. Which I would assume removes other good effects that your mod is keeping in.
