I. INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION NOTES
Aliens Versus Predator 2: AJL Modification requires that the original
Aliens Versus Predator 2 game be installed before it can be installed.
If you do not have the original Aliens Versus Predator 2 game you will
not be able to play Aliens Versus Predator 2: AJL Modification.
Aliens Versus Predator 2: AJL Modification installs to a separate folder
withing the main game folder and does not overwrite or modify existing
Aliens Versus Predator 2 files. After installing AJL Modification you
can still play the original Aliens Versus Predator 2 as usually and you
can launch the AJL Modification with the shortcut (AJL-AVP2Mod) which
will be created on your desktop. (Playing the Mod does not require CD
to be in the drive)

II. SERVER COMMANDS

SERVER CONTROLLER/MASTER COMMANDS
There are now Two types of Server Controllers who can kick players,
change game setting and such... Server MASTER have full control of
the server while the Server Controller can only do some basic stuff
Server MASTER is marked with Gold Star and Server Controller with
Silver Star.
Server Commands:
master [PassWord]
Replace "[PassWord]" with the actual server master password.
control [PassWord]
Replace "[PassWord]" with the actual server controller password.
Server Masters and Controllers:
setcontrol [Client ID]
Gives the server control to another player. Replace "[Client ID]"
with the players ID number. (you can get it from the Score screen
where it is before the players name)
kick [Client ID]
Boots a player from the server. Replace "[Client ID]" with the
players ID number. (you can get it from the Score screen where it
is before the players name)
(Server Controller CAN'T kick Server Master)
prevlevel
Ends the current match and switches to the previous map.
nextlevel
Ends the current match and switches to the next map.
restart
Restarts the match in the current map.
Server Masters ONLY:
getpass
Prints the server Master, Server controller and Game Joining
passwords.
setpass [PassType] [NewPass]
Changes the password... Replace "[PassType]" with: (master or
control or joingame) and "[NewPass]" with the new password you
want to use.
setmaster [Client ID]
Gives the FULL server control to some other player. Replace
"[Client ID]" with the players ID number. (you can get it from
the Score screen where it is before the players name)
fraglimit [Limit]
Sets new fraglimit for the game. Replace "[Limit]" with the new
limit which must be between 0 and 80. (0 = no limit)
scorelimit [Limit]
Sets new scorelimit for the game. Replace "[Limit]" with the new
limit which must be between 0 and 2000. (0 = no limit)
timelimit [Limit]
Sets new timelimit for the game. Replace "[Limit]" with the new
limit which must be between 0 and 60. (0 = no limit) (minutes)
damage [Scale]
Sets new damage scale for the game. Replace "[Scale]" with the
new damage scale which must be between 25 and 200. (percentages)
lifecycle
Turns the Alien Lifecycle ON/OFF. (Doesn't affect Xeno Drones)
maskloss
Turns the Predators Mask Loss ON/OFF.
charlock
Turns the Character Lock ON/OFF. (When Character Lock is set to
ON players can change their character class/team only during the
respawn invulnerability)
medpacks [Number]
Sets how many times predators can use their medicomp. (predators
medicomp doesn't use energy or anything) Replace "[Number]" with
the new amount which must be between 0 and 10. (10 = Unlimited)
skulls [Number]
Sets how many skulls predators must collect before they can use
their self destruction device. (Self Destruction is activated by
selecting medicomp and pressing secondary fire) Replace "[Number]"
with the new amount which must be between 0 and 27. (0 = Disable
the self destruction)
friendlyfire
Turns the Friendly Fire ON/OFF. (When Friendly Fire is OFF players
can't kill their team mates but they can still kill them selfs)
weapon [WeapNum]
Turns weapons ON/OFF. Replace "[WeapNum]" with the number of the
weapon you want to turn ON or OFF. (the command weapon without any
number gives the list of the weapons and their numbers)
max [Team] [Limit]
Sets the limit for players in some team. Replace "[Team]" with
the team name (Aliens, Marines, Corporates or Predators) and the
"Limit" with the number which must be between 0 and 8.
max [Char] [Limit]
Sets the limit for players using some character class. Replace
"[Char]" with the character name (for example: Xeno Drone) and
the "Limit" with the number which must be between 0 and 8.
These require map change or restart to take effect:
[Type] race [Team]
Sets the hunter, prey, attacker or survivor race for survivor or
hunt gamemode. Replace "[Type]" with (hunter or prey) in hunt or
(attacker or survivor) in survivor game and Replace "[Team]" with
the team name (Alien, Marine, Corporate or Predator).
gametype [Type]
Sets the gametype. Replace "[Type]" with (dm, teamdm, survivor or
hunt).

III. SOME "NEED TO KNOW"
--------------------------
SOME INFORMATION ABOUT THE NEW/CHANGED GAME PROPERTIES YOU MAY
NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TO GET GOING...
- All human weapons are available for all humans but they can only
carry knife, pistol and Two normal or one heavy weapon at the time
(minigun and smartgun are the heavy weapons) and also the smartgun
targeting can only be used by the marine smartgunner and only the
corporate minigunner can carry the full load of ammo for minigun
and some weapons aren't always as accurate when used by someone
to whom they doesn't belong.
- To reload Grenades or Shells into pulse rifle you need to shoot
the gun empty and then press secondary fire to begin reloading or
you can hold down the reload button until the reloading begins and
the reloading the grenades or shotgun shells happens slowly one at
the time and the reloading will stop when you have no more or when
the gun is full or when you press the fire button.
- With sniper rifle holding down the secondary fire button doesn't
zoom in like in normal AVP2 it simply keeps the scope up (to zoom
in/out you need to use the separate zoom in/out buttons)
- You can charge some weapons like discs and nets but this wont
increase the damage, it just makes it more accurate. (Though the
net flies faster when you've charged it first, you can cancel the
charge by pressing secondary fire while using Netgun)
- You can make SpearGun more accurate if you hold down the fire
button, but this will show the lasers and enemies will spot you
easily. (To cancel, press secondary fire button)
- There's no energy sift, the batteries will "slowly" recharge if
you're not cloaked.
- To use quick messages/voice commands you'll need to hold down
the taunt button (Marines and Corporates only)
- There are no shared buttons anymore so remember to set all the
buttons for all the characters.
- There is no Alien "HeadBite". To use Alien's jaw attack, hold
down the secondary fire button and then Press primary fire button.
You can also charge them.
