I'm guessing this is your version of T'Kuvma's ship?

Oh this is a very nice "classic" Trek take on the Disco design! I love how the aft is a tube too, fitting with the "primitive" design ethos for the old Federation (Deadalus) and Romulan (Greg Jein designed ship) designs

Sheesh. That's the thing. They could have done Discovery all new and fresh with new ideas and respected canon and lost NOTHING in the process. And they are paid to do this.

(buried)

They are respecting the canon outside of the visuals.

Aside from the visuals, the Klingon mythology, the tech, the Federation philosphy, Vulcans' abilities, the timeline of known events, common sense, basic scientific principles and most of all Roddenberry's vision of the future, they are respecting the canon alright.

The Klingons Mythology is still the same as the other series.

Where did DSC contradict any Vulcan abilities?

The Klingons consider that dead bodies are nothing but empty vessels with no value. They are not religious. They aren't weirdo monsters that eat people, they are intelligent.

Vulcans were never able to telepathically communicate hundred of lightyears away instantly. If it was the case, Tuvok should just have called home in Voy. And every starships should have a team of Vulcans for instant telepathic communication with anyone anywhere in the federation. The Federation would virtually be impossible to spy on. Why doesn't the Borg use that ability to its advantage. We know it has Vulcan drones and that it replicates biological traits on the drones, it should be impossible to isolate a borg from the collective. Do Romulans also have this ability? Why didn't Vreenak telepathically informed the Empire of Sisko's lies... and so on and so on.

Since Star Trek 2009, the ST writing teams were very consistent on only one thing: writing themselves in massive plotholes for no good reason.

T'Kuvma's followers believed in older teachings. Klingon mummification rituals are mentioned in Star Trek 4.

T'Pol and Trip communicated across lightyears in Enterprise because of their bond.
Michael and Sarek had a similar bond because he saved her life with a mind meld and sharing part of his Katra.

Klingons have always eaten parts of their enemies, usually just their hearts. The Klingons on that ship were also running out of food and starving.

When unpaid (but clearly experienced) modders do a better job of coming up with a ship design that is new and fresh but also respects the canon and the design aesthetic of the era, you know the mod will be absolutely incredible.

Description

Sometimes known as the ship of the dead, the F-4 Class is an almost ancient design, being by far the oldest design still active in the empire this class has been specialized for attacking large installations. Its large central hull houses a more modern reactor that is directly charged to the main Disruptor beam emitter. Once charged it can fire a continuous high power beam that in time can take out almost any starbase. The downside of such systems is that the ship becomes a lot more vulnerable to damage and once its shields are down its almost impossible to maintain the beam.
