Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.

USS Kelvin passes a neutron star as it surveys a newly charted system, seeking out new sources of dilithium.
Ya know, this is the only JJ ship i'm fine with as is and not being TOSed. Dunno why, I couldn't explain it but damn I like this ship heh.
That shot also makes me think it's breaching the barrier between realities and is like "get me the heck into a good timeline!"
It was always a good design, and while our version is MOSTLY as it appeared in the 2009 film, it has been TOSified a little bit. Small details have been tweaked here and there, added hull markings to give it some colour, and of course, the scale has been brought down to what you'd expect at this point in the timeline.
Oh yeah, the scale of the original was bonkers.
