Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.

There you have it - the icons for the military tree are now in place.
More research options will be added in time, but stylistically the military tree is complete. Huzzah!
What is the ship above the ares? It almost looks like the walker class but I'm not sure.
Based on looks, must be the Cardenas Class.

its possible that hull and shield increases are included into those techs you see on the screen, like every new ship gives also hull/shield increase
I'd say Shields are a defense technology.
Shielding and hull is also applied to Buildings (I assume so anyway :P) So i'd say that would be more Defence then Military.
The tree isn't complete at this point. I'm still on the process of making things when I can, I think that Orion meant complete from a style perspective :)
Does that mean the NX and that other one won't be the only ships to get refit techs?
I made a boo-boo in the description. The research tree is not complete in that more research options are yet to be added.
Not as massive as the Military tree in STA 3, still looks good though!
That's my bad. I was headed out when I wrote the description and rushed it. There are more research options still to come, and some of the options here will be moved around. But tylistically this is what you can expect to see in-game.
Now I know what I need to do to rush those Andorian Phasers! Looks grand!

I love the variety of ships! So nice to see this era fleshed out with Axanar stuff (which really fits well I think) and all the refits. Muwhhahahaa. Can't wait to NX refit and Connie everything to smithereens :D

I just realized guys, in the ship list, I noticed the D is missing.
I'm interested to see you guys chose to put the Asia class after the Ares. In beta canon iirc, it was put into service around 2200 as a test bed for new technologies. Though I think it makes sense to make it a more direct precursor of the Connie.
Ex Astris Scientia has an Asia refit which I'd love to see in the next version of Ages of the Federation:
