Description
A relatively obscure offshoot of the X-wing, designed for the New Republic, the T-65 AC4 is armed with turbolasers and is built to engage capital ships. It is capable against fighters as well, though nowhere near as effective as the T-65 XJ X-wing.
The AC4 variant spawns from some Dark Empire-era New Republic capital ships that remain in service.

I'm guessing the rate of fire on this thing was abysmal, considering the power requirements of even a Light turbo laser mount
It is slow firing, but of course you get a full squadron of them, so they are very effective ‘bombers’.
mmmm if it was a single turbo mount replacing the proton torp launcher it would make sense. This thing has too many high power weapons to even fire them all at once let alone in a decent ROF.
Very cinematic style.
