They're not the 3 stooges either! so can anyone guess what factions they belong to? hint: the middle figure is clearly a Great War infantryman for the Commonwealth.

Actually it's Italy - but you do have a point since they seemed to have resembled those of Austria. Also, Austria doesn't appear, its place has been taken over by Hungary :3
Ah, I was thinking that I should say some Alpine country but instead I just went with Austria.

with the oldest military mountain corp called "alpini"
However featured here is a fancy bersaglieri, with the giddy cockerell feathers and stuff.
I just learnt after reading some stuff on Austria that they ALSO had their own Alpine units....the Bersaglieri and Alpine corps were all modelled off them because Italy was preparing for a showdown with Austria for Istria and the Tyrol.
