Is it the best idea having Jaime's common dress as the recruit armor for the Westerlands?
Judging by the fact that ASOIAF is in a (middle ages) feudal society, I think a tunic or peasant clothing would be far more appropriate for "recruit" armor.
Although it looks awesome, I have to agree with bravozulu9.
You have to make these clothes available though... They look awesome and that Clash of Kings mod makes these clothes basically impossible to get.
Once everythings been balanced correctly you will be able to receive all/most armours in the same way as native. Though for special or rare armours that will be a different story. For example, to get a lords armour you may need to either defeat them in battle or maybe even kill them. The same goes for weapons and valyrian weapons.
