Oh, such good work wasted on the fantastically crappy designs of the show.
How else is he gonna know what the armor looks like? Does the book describe how the armor looks or show a picture of it?
Crappy designs of the show? Is you blind?

Well, of course I realise he has to base it on something, I'm not blaming the mod devs at all. But as someone who studies medieval armour quite a lot, I have to tell you that moving in this thing comfortably would be nigh impossible. Seriously, the armours on the show would hardly work in real life at all. With this you couldn't even lean in any direction. Or be protected properly for that matter, as it's so flat it couldn't deflect a thing.
This is a fantasy show, with dragons and ice zombies, Giants and warlocks, your nitpick is the armour not being realistic? On a mod,.....lol I sense a book purist behind that comment
Just because there are fantastical creatures in it doesn't mean suspension of disbelief should not be upheld. I mean, you don't see knights charging around with plastic spoons now, do we? I mean, if anything goes because of fantasy elements they could have just filmed it in Los Angeles with no costumes and cars for horses!
But with that said, I honestly don't see the impracticality in this armor at all. He should have pointed out what he meant, but he didn't. Sounds more like he wanted to sound important.
I noticed a few armor pieces in the game are just textures, that's why it looks flat.
Wow, that's gorgeous!
Highgarden, the fashion capital of Westeros! Well done!
nah, casterly rock is where that is. Lannister armor is where its at.
Hope the tyrell guardsmen dont have mustaches like every other troop in the game. Thats one thkng thag slightly gets me. They are all clean shaven in the tv show so hope they are in this mod as well. But thag armour is going straight on my next character.
House of Hightower and Tarly should have their own troops tooooo !
dont think we've seen house hightower troops though.
Funny, armor appeared here, do not appear in the ACOK and armor do not appear here, appear in the ACOK.
What?
Hmmm.... WHAT?
He is uhh... Trying to, erm, say that AWOIAF has different armours, which ACOK doesn't have and vice versa?
Is this a line from The Matrix Reloaded?
******* beautiful. Would like a fully plated version though. :3
