After a short hiatus I have returned and bring with me come the finished concepts for the four dedicated bombers of the British and German air forces. As well as the fighter-bombers showcased in a previous news release, both sides have access to much heavier dedicated bomber aircraft, able to carry more bombs over greater distances and defend themselves to some extent against enemy fighters. These units can be fatal to unescorted goliaths like the Dreadnought, and are small enough to sneak into battle unnoticed untill it is much too late to stop them. Unlike in Homeworld however these bombers do not have an inifinite supply of bombs and must return to a friendly support ship to reload after attacks.
Brushing up on my European history ready for university has also given me a good excuse to revist World War I and work on making the storyline for A Wing and a Prayer more convincing and indepth. I hope to begin posting the improved version in the forum over the coming weeks. Next release probably won't be for a fortnight or so, but you can look forward to the gunships for both sides.
as usual nice concepts just cant wait to see some renders and in game stuff :D
Woohoo! Go Doctor go!
Thanks guys, theres a bit of 3D stuff going on behind the scenes although really thats a whole diffrent phase of development.
We will just have to see what the future holds ;)
W00T!
well keep it up you and crimson skies (and to a lesser extent disneys series Tail Spin if any one remembers that) is the only thing that caters to my mad art deco/ fantasy flight theme tastes so keep it up.
Tail Spin eh? I'll have to check that one out.
Any potential inspiration is worth its weight in gold.
