Medium Bomber (Donner)
The first dedicated bomber aircraft, the Medium
Bomber carries an impressive load of ten 25lb
bombs which are used to devastating effect against
enemy airships. Two .303 guns mounted in a turret
also give light defensive fire to ward off enemy
fighter craft. Generally however the Medium Bomber
requires an escort to fend off fighter squadrons,
and attacks on flak equipped airships are ill
advised, as the bomber has neither the speed nor
the maneuverability to evade incoming fire.
Heavy Bomber (Blitz)
The Medium Bombers bigger, meaner brother, the
Heavy Bomber packs a hefty twenty 25lb bombs in
its twin internal bomb bays making it a real
airship killer. Three turrets also give it
impressive defensive fire, whilst an improved air
frame allows it to take far more punishment than
its predecessor. Its speed still leaves much to be
desired however, and for all its improvements it
is still easy prey for heavy fighters and flak
airships if sent into battle unescorted.
I really hope you can pull this off.
