Cool, by the way, is the Taiidan race trrue to the original in terms of research and ship production?
I mean that the original ones used chassi research instead of modules and the ship beig built would only need their research and size requiring construction bay to use.

No we have them using modules like the hig and V and just like every other race. Thou we could go down that path for research instead, would take a while to rewire everything.

If that can work without much trouble then I would actually love to see that... Never liked the fact that they use sub modules... For Hw2 Taiidani etc it would be fine but for the original hw1 models it always seemed out of place. FX mod doesn't use em neither.

i dont know if i want to do this cause non module races are at a disadvantage. However they wont have as much of an RU drain because they cant build them, but if this is done do you want modules removed from all their ships including their Cruisers 23? Because if this is the case then the Cruisers no longer count as production ships and wont be able to build FCT which would have given all friendly ships in the field an extra 15 percent bonus to hit rate and FP so X that by the number of towers.
