hey guys I don't know if we have come to a general consensus of what to incorporate into the tech tree and such...so far we have a few structures (refinery/tradeport/starbase) implemented and the planetaccess research which has been added also. Thus far there is only one weapon upgrade which is for missiles (x_x).

I need to upload the latest build since I implemented these few things so I will get on it.

Any ideas...just write away.

Imperial:

Plasma Drives (a starships power and propulsion source):

Jovian-pattern class 8.1 - 8.3 Drive's
An incomplete STC which burns cooler than other drives and are far more robust, able to absorb crippling damage without any performence loss
Ships effected:Frigate-Cruisers-Grand Crusiers

Mezoa-Pattern Theta-7 Drive
A civilian plasma Drive designed purely for speed.
Ships effected:Transports

Saturnine-pattern Class 4A "Ultra" Drive:
The pinnacle of human technology. Increases drive to weapon systems, allowing weapons to fire more effectively and efficiently
Ships effected:Battlecruisers

Warp Drive and Gellar Fields.....A two part upgrade
Allows ships to move between stars
Ships effected:All

Triple Void Shield Array
Layered banks of void shields makes grand cruisers more than durable than any other Imperial Ship
Ships effected: Grand Cruisers

Glimmer Shields: An ancient standby of human defensive technology
Ships effected: All but Grand Cruisers

Disruption Macrocannons: Improves a ships broadsides
Ships effected: Anythjing that has a broadside

Stygies-pattern Bombardment Cannons: Improves planetary bombardments
Ships effected: the ones that can shoot planets

Godsbane Lance: An extreme ranged lance, only available with improved engines (Because of the huge amount of power it takes to shoot)
Ships effected:Whatever you like

Mezoa Pattern Hybrid Lance: Sacrifices godsbanes range for power

Voidsunder Lance battery: Long range lances for lighter vessels

Hecutor-pattern Plasma Battery: A long range broadside attack
Ships effected: Grand Cruisers

Auger Arrays: Detect enemy ships one system away

BG-15 Assault scanners:
Able to detect enemy structures in an already explored planet, one system away
