4 The Record: A HL2 Mod for Half-Life 2

Summary: 

4 The Record is a RPG game that combines GTA with the Sims. We are looking to make a huge mod that will give the element of realility. You will play Kevin Jamar-King, an ex-con who, upon his release, decided to go into the media industry.

Biography: Kevin Jamar-King was born in Siren Hill Hospital, San Ricardo, Marico City. He lived with his Mother Julia King in East San Ricardo until he was 15, when he moved to West San Ricardo with his Half-Sisters Janet Jamal and Daniela Jamal. He (Street named Kev-Faces II) became a drug dealer for Tom Westwood, the local Drug Lord; he was in and out of jail constantly and joined a gang called the Blak Jakz (Lead by a Haitian called Trone). When he was 18, he was arrested during a gang shootout in Verona, South East of San Ricardo. He served 4 years and 2 years after his release he (Nicknamed Kev Faced) had founded a Record Label with Rapper James ‘Whitey’ Jones called ‘K-Face-W Records’. 2 Months later, ‘Whitey’ was signed by Jammie ‘Majestic J’ Jackson, Media Icon and K-Face-W collapsed due to funding issues. 1 Year on and K-Face-K is left with a medium sized flat, in Verona and no job. He must get a job to take him up to his aspirations with his flatmate Victor ‘Voodoo’ Morison, a small time Haitian record producer.

Features:

- An all new City, with at least 20 accesible buildings in each district.

- A wide choice of clothes (& Shops), hairstyles (& Barbers/Salons) and other domestic items needed.

- An all new feature that lets the player shave their own hair, beard, and style their hair.

- Cooking books so you can do it yourself or the phone book so you can order what you fancy.

- Jobs are going to play a key role in 4TR. You will need to maintain your job and hopefullyget promoted to rebuild your dreams of a record label.

- And more fun mini-games such as basketball, computer/internet, record/money managing and recruiting artists.

- Coders - Experienced in Half-Life 2/Half Life coding

- Modellers - Experienced in using 3ds Max, Maya or any other 3d modelling program, and at least one modeller must be able to get models ingame .

- Mappers - Experienced in mapping in Half Life games.

- Artists - Experienced at art and digital artwork.

- Webmaster - Experienced at making sites and promotion.

- Storyline Writers - We need someone with a wild but realistic imagination to write the storyline missions.
