I always dreamt of a Western videogame or of a ACW videogame and this Mod has them both and is an Rpg in 1st/3rd and strategic view. It is for a Single Player Campaign, but has also Custom Battles and a cool Multiplayer (even in Coop mode!) with playable Factions of the American Civil War and Wild Frontier, Mexican Second Empire and Indian Wars. 1860s Old America by GABRILDURO American Civil War Battle Multyplayer on a LAN
Some anticipations on new v.1.0 new Alpha, coming on September, 30 (you had me to swear that ...ghhh)
Better textures and meshes as you can see, better shooting action (some now will complain that you can die too easily...mmmhh) and better all together look and gameplay.
In this vid you can see that is better not to switch from a good sabre to a pistol...than you will see how to "evirate" a poor Csa soldier with a shot (didn t notice at first, huh?) and finally how to move troops to fight close to a barricate.

Eh... dont want to sound offensive, but... it looks same as 0.99 Z. Same uniforms, same textures. And I see crouching with pistol is still not fixed :(

That hateful crouching pistol animation is really a pain in the butt u are right. Spent tons of time to fix it but I couldnt. I do not use python and through text coding only I cannot find the error.
But a lot of bigger and smaller issues wer fixed, as well. You will find out only playing it, though.
About outfits I fixed a lot of things expecially in matching them right with boots and shoes but old ones were good enough to keep them.

I love 1776 American revolution, even though there are a few crashes, but still on my top favourite mods list :) Btw, I think you could add same feature as in 1776 American revolution, recruiting special regiments. You could add here the same, so you could have some real regiments. You could cooperate with Hinkel and use some of his uniforms from his older version of N&S First Manassas. Good luck

Let me tell you that this last update 1.1 is really an
absolute
masterpiece
of
modding!
New things and issues all over:
flare and smoke for weapons
skills for troops
skills for npgs
skills for tavern mercenaries
factions colors and ratios
scenes in towns and villages and forts
scenes in taverns
scenes in governors rooms > and that was needed!
proficincies on weapons, revolvers rifles and muskets
reloading time for guns
3 different classes of shot sounds for revolvers repeating guns and old cap&ball; weapons
new custom battles
new mp troops and scenes
and so many other things that I am discovering step by step and I cant stop playing this addicting moooood!
The mod is absolutely and incredibly > s t a b l e < and you fixed in a record time so many issues and bugs that is incredible. All alone?!

I cannot believe that so many players and fans pushed you in such a hurry time ago and now they can only point at some small issues and nobody wrote a long and deep review on the many things that were accomplished and expecially in the very last 1.1 latest version...
Once again, I rated it 10 because it is a full conversion mod and based on history and it deserves a special apreciation
but also because I noticed an insane action of trolls and haters against gab
I already said that I know what is behind modding intensively as GABRILDURO did here and he deserves full respect and support
i also helped him long time ago on 1755 and i know him deep enough to say that he is a very kind and very very special person...and if I say that I am a female he will understand who I am lol
About the mod, it is a lot of pure fun and you can play as you want:
farmer, soldier, cowboy, mercenary, american native, outlaw, and so on
And it is single player! I mean...how many good sp musket mods based on history were made for wb? ...total conversion?!
Honestly, I find myself playing more custom battles and mp battles with ai.
bots are not very smart but I love to create battles as i like
and I adore arenas as gab made them he called them shootouts or something like that
also I read about gabs recent issues, heart problems and I wish him all the best
