Mod wont launch,
Installed version 2.7 and patch 2.7b..
"RBDoom3BFG.exe - System Error
The program can't start because avcodec-57.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem."
Wish there was an easy way to uninstall this mod as the regular non-mod version does not seem to be running as smoothly now. Was asked to replace files during mod installation.

Just to get some clarifcation.. Can I install just this Mod ? Do I have to install other Mods ? Are the other Mods just to add additional races ?

Is the ModDB version for download DXN.2.7z already patched ?
And thanks for this great looking Mod. It's great to see mods for this very moddable game. Years ago I would look for some and there really were only a few not really finished ones, now years latter we have this great stuff !

This is great... I think the people who didn't get the joke possibly didn't get the DLC that was announced on the exclusive club that you could join after you go the link form the patch to fix the problems 2 days after launch...
Or maybe the direct x update to 11 and all the little patches have caused their latest video card driver version to slow down the near perfect settings that took 12 hours to get right to play the game to get to the can that's on the fridge that the human will walk up and get for you anyway.....

Just played though a bit of this and so far I gotta say... Lot's of fun.
I like how the levels have areas you can explore or not bother.

I always look at this mod when you guys post an update, but what I can't tell from looking at it is how far along is it ? Is it playable ? Most of the videos only show models and very little gameplay. What is the gameplay like ?

Every new version of direct x and every new "graphics breakthrough" seems to mean... smaller and smaller maps. Graphics developers (cards, drivers) don't seem to realize that people have to do the art for all these things, models, textures, light, now tessalation.
Most newer games I've played lately I find myself saying, humma, should I just save and stop now, I don't want to finish the whole thing on the first night. People seem to love it though, so hey, it's just my 2 cents, plus a new directX 11 graphics card sure does blaze through those older directX 9 titles.
Myself I'd go for a great storyline, great map design, cool artistic direction, over..."look shiny colour...(drool)"
(Not sure how much this has to do with your map/mod, but you did ask the question.)

Very interesting... I may just have to break out this classic game and give it a try.
I must say enhancements for older games seem to go either way, some are really nice and help keep a classic game alive, while others just look awkward and seem to....(humma)... "crap all over" the original artistic design. Yours does seem to fit into the formercategoryy.
Any built-in widescreesupportrt ?

This was actually a lot of fun. There are a few bugs to iron out, but the quick arcade style was fun.

This looks like a great idea. I like the WW2 shooter genre for a variety of reasons. I think I've learned more WW2 history from FPS than I did in school. Having said that.
Is there an ETA on a release yet ?
And is there a chance of Canadian soldiers or battle being included ?

People talk about how much WW2 has been done already but strangely the Canadian battles (to my knowledge some of the heaviest fighting in WW2) never seem to be shown.

Hey great Mod, Looks good and I'm really enjoying the built in widescreen support.
One thing, have you (or anybody) ever considered updating the mouse controls. On my present system, and even the one or two I had before this one, I find the mouse controls just TOO sensitive even when set to 1. Just a thought.

Didn't mean to make such a big deal of it, just offering my opinion and I would have deleted my comment if that was possible.
Believe it or not the pentagram, upside down or not is a "real" religious symbol and I guess that's were my beef comes from when I see it in games, and I see it quite a bit, this was the first time I ever commented on it and like I said, I'd delete that comment if I could.
Okay.... on another note... I tried your game and liked it quite a bit... very impressive for such a small download.. 2 things....
1. I could not get any of the other camera angles (besides default) to work.
2. The mouse (pointer) control is quite loose.. I think that is a product of the engine and not your game in particular though.
Also the frame rate I was getting is quite low considering what's on screen and that I'm using a HD4890 with 2GB s.
A actually liked the game a fair bit and will be quite interested to see how far you (guys?) go with it. I got used to zooming right out playing supreme commander so it's nice to see that is some other games. Anyway thanks for the game, I'd delete my other comment if I could, and yeah the pentagram is actually a real religious symbol to some people.

Upside down pentagram compared to the red star on an Heineken bottle, with such a tight simile like that you must be a writer... (sarc.)
In some religions and/ or spiritual practices this symbols have very Strong meanings, I just think it's an drag to run into.

Great game, played through it at least a couple times, very cool Graphich novel style graphics. Love when the extra panels pop up to show enemies !
