There is just something about Doomguy flipping the bird in silence that says more than words ever could.
No it doesn't but why would you want it too when you can just play Brutal Doom v20b on normal project brutality through its options instead?
Absolutely amazing stuff, does anybody know if there is some sort of work around with the water bug?
Some reason when using trailblazer it doesn't give the project/brutal setting options, Insanity is fine however. Also did you replace all the fire effects and stuff from the last pb monsters only mod?
@TheCrimsonFucker Just simply using the weapons for it would be fine but re-spriting all the custom monsters from it to brutalize them would take years.
You shouldn't use the sbrightmaps with this, it won't be properly aligned and just cause you game to lag in-general if you use it with this mod.
Btw I haven't been able to get around to try this but has the blue water problem been fixed?
Was anything n this changed from the version Mark released a while back? Also there is a beta of the project brutality version on the project brutality discord.

One recommendation I would make is try to make monster brightmaps separate from map brightmaps. This way people can use HD textures and not have miss-aligned lighting.
This version of pb is pretty outdated now and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't run on the latest gzdoom.
You should probably try this out instead. There are quite a few new features for more interesting gameplay and better performance.
Really nice, another reason I liked complex doom soo much was because of the hundreds of silly things said when monsters kill you XD.
Fixes for this bug have not been updated in this version yet but its been fixed in the Project Brutality Mutators.
I want these in my pb right now, they just look too amazing not to be implemented.
Nice, just decided to check this after last downloading half a year ago and behold a new update.
personally I feel the autoshotgun is mostly a cosmetic change and is almost no better than using just one autoshotgun due to the inaccurcy or it just being just slightly more powerful than using just one. Infact this is how I feel about all duel wielded weapons. Its just for looks.
Thats why I like the freezer weapon the best when duel wielding *sorta*, it takes a sec to get used to but it is a very fun and unique way to destroy monsters.
Hey pain just wondering but has there been a fix to candle decorations during performance mode? Because those things are huge lol.
Also are you going to be switching out all the current candles for brutal20b ones or do you still prefer the black candles? I honestly wouldn't mind seeing some red candles for something different lol.

I don't really remember any pb cell based weapons ever making gibs puddles like this. Its just a tiny nitpick but you can easily tell it doesn't match.
Thats kinda odd, it just makes every blood puddle on the floor look like bright red paint instead of blood. It just seems really out of place and doesn't match with anything. Otherwise this is a pretty nice weapon.
One thing I noticed with this weapon is it makes those really bright red pools of blood from that red droplet mod. This isn't intended is it? It just doesn't really match up all that well with the other blood imo.
I wonder if its possible to add flashlight mods similar to doom 3 in this. That game had like 50 different kinds lol.

There is a soundtrack on moddb that has like 10 musical tracks from quake 1. Also I think Fearrific has lots of quake sound replacers. Might be the best you can find out there in terms of quake sounds.
Alt dhtp brightmaps is just for the textures, those are fine and don't conflict with anything. If not it replaces all the right ones on its own.
However the brightmaps in the pb mutatos can replace everything else *Sbrightmaps and the pb ones I uploaded*.
