Need fix detection Windows 8.1 OS, tried compatibility mode Windows 7/8, it failed.

Want to use it with "Action Quake 2/LTK Bot" that are found on this site. Tried, switching to the mod in new game menu and loading from LTK launcher, Map loads, but, nothing else. Any solutions for mod compatibility?
