Hi, I'm WhiteDragon25! While I don't have the technical expertise to actually create a mod, I do have a wealth of ideas and concepts for one. You can see my mod ideas here on my profile blog, where I talk about them in detail.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention: this thing needs a name badly. Any ideas?

Random thought: I get the amusing image of this thing being the bastard love-child between the Stealth Tank and the MGS3 Shagohod.

Description

This is for an idea for a C&C3 mod I've had for some time now: the mod's basic premise was to expand on the ideas and concepts that Kane's Wrath had, such as the subfactions. This concept here, meant for the Black Hand, is supposed to be a replacement for the Stealth Tank, a hole in their arsenal that needed filling.

I came up with this vehicle after racking my brain for how to fill in the Stealth Tank's role - then, after playing the Renegade campaign mission "Obelisk of Oppression", I had a sudden stroke of inspiration: a Tactical Nuke SSM Launcher!

The tank's design borrows the rough chassis profile of the standard Stealth Tank (from there, the similarities end): instead of a stealth system and two 6x AT/AA missile launchers, the tank opts for two 1x Tactical Nuclear Surface-to-Surface Missiles, along with a back-mounted microwave thermal cannon and two frontal hull-mounted laser cannons (the latter two weapon systems are still pending).

This seems like a perfect fit for the Black Hand, who already have a pyromania streak - and what better fire there is than *nuclear* fire? Of course, this may be a bit too overpowered, so I could leave the nukes as a Temple of Nod-required upgrade for them, and give the tank's missiles regular high-explosive warheads instead (with a Thermobaric Warheads upgrade from the Tech Lab).
