Hey not sure if this is a known bug or just something I did wrong, but I am playing the Twilight and all the text boxes say "Aztecs not playable - do not translate" or something similar to that. Did I install the game wrong or is this just an issue for the forces of twilight? (I am playing as Midna if that matters)

Your son is an illegitimate bastard. Some mods allow you to fix this by going to the intrigue screen and legitimizing him which will **** off your wife and other family members. If he inherits your vassals will not like him. Bastards almost never inherited anything in medieval times because all the nobles had many of them and they wanted their proper children to be the ones to inherit things. That is why the few times bastards did rule countries they conquered them such as William of Normandy's rules of England
