We'll have to discuss this, and I'll have to see what I can do. I'm the only coder in the group right now, so I've got the main features to worry about first. Diplomacy is already done, and I'm expanding on it in some ways. Some of these features look really interesting so I'll look into it. Mercenaries will more than likely be added since that would just be a matter of changing the outfits of the already existing mercs and changing some names, some copy-pasting, so on. I've done the minor parties in some of my own mods that I made for myself, so I can put that in. I want to add more life into the game so anything like that will more than likely get done, but it all depends on how well the main features work out. Thank you for your ideas and opinions, hopefully we can make this something you and everyone else will enjoy.

That's a shame, it would have been nice to see this fulfilled. Maybe some day. But until then, best of luck to you.

I had a problem with earlier versions of the mod, if I was talking to someone outside then their face would be covered by trees and bushes and so on. Sometimes the problem would not come up until later on, but it wouldn't go away after it came up. Does this version fix that?

If possible, maybe have it depend on the time of day. If it's at night, the starting point should be inside. In the daytime it should be ladders and siege equipment. I don't know if that's possible with mount and blade though, I know some of the codes are difficult to mess with. They were for me anyway.

You're welcome, I'm glad it worked! I was already in the process of manually changing the names when I found out, glad I didn't have to finish that.

I think I found out how to fix the Latin names that everyone's having problems with. When you install the mod, make sure you pick the optional English translations. Then after installation go to the mods folder and open the languages folder. There should be a file called Optional English Translations.rar. Open it, and find the folder called en. Put the en folder in the languages folder, and that should fix it. Worked for me anyway. I hope this helps.

Did you select the optional English translations option? If you did, you shouldn't have Latin names. But I'm having the same problem, and it looks like several other people have the same problem. Hopefully this'll get fixed soon.

Many people have had that problem. It's a common problem, and so far the only thing you can do is restart the game and try again. As far as I know anyway.

Buy it from someone at the military depot.

If that happens then you need to restart the computer and try again. That's the best that can be done at the moment. And don't worry about your English, it's still better than most people who have been speaking English their whole lives.

Just find the recruiter in the capital city, or a military depot. You can join at any time, even if you just started the game.

Guys, just stop replying to Betty. Vote her comments down, but don't reply back. Seriously, don't give the troll a reason to come back. I know we all want to say something, but let's just quit arguing so she doesn't come back. Instead, let's all go and enjoy the mod we have waited years for, and has already exceeded everyone's expectations for an alpha.

This mod is amazing! I can tell that there were 3 years of development in this. I only found one bug so far, and that is that British line infantry don't do any damage at all (at least in custom battles). They hit just fine but it always does no damage. Other than that, congratulations on making an outstanding mod!

As well as the patience to work on this mod and try to make it historically accurate. That's enough stress without all this whining. But people can't think about the developer's struggles for even 5 seconds.

Docm, don't rush to get this out. Just take your time and release this outstanding mod when you're ready, we can all wait longer. I'm surprised you're actually willing to work this hard for people who can't stop complaining about a few hours. I respect you for that, I would never have wanted to finish this with all the complaining. Best of luck to you when you do release, and congratulations on 2nd place as well as being the most popular mod at the time.
