The night vision has been moved onto the headlamp, so it's no longer tied to any helmet. You need to find or craft a headlamp which has the NV attached to it.
As for your other comment, are you playing on the latest patch? IIRC one of the updates addressed the choppers shooting at the rookie village (and other bases in the game). Personally I haven't seen a single chopper fire at anyone in the game so far (I've played as both a hostile and a friendly faction towards the loners), so you might also just have been unlucky in that particular instance.
After updating to beta 2.3, the geiger counter no longer shows how much radiation I have. Changing between the modes doesn't help. It was working fine before. I tried changing resolution and reinstalling the 2.3 beta, but neither helped.
I'm playing at 1920x1080 with 95 fov/45 hud fov, in case that matters.
There is a [debug_spawner_outfit] section inside the debug spawner. You need to add each of the new suits into that list. The names for the suits are in config/misc/outfit.ltx, e.g. exo_merc_urban_outfit, exo_merc_grass_outfit, and all the others that this addon has.
It is not, most of the files conflict and the icons would overlap. Manual editing and merging would fix this, but it's a lot of work, especially with the icons.
You need to add the outfits into config/plugins/debug_spawner.ltx.
This seems like a really nice mod. Does it require a new game to work properly?
Indeed, it was the weapons.ltx file. Funnily enough, I did actually take a peek at it initially, but just missed that particular change. Everything works now, so that's great. Thank you!

I am unable to get the ammo splitting to work. The "split" option seems to never show up, regardless of what type of ammo I right-click, or whether it's in my inventory, stash or while trading.
I am running a bunch of addons, but I am fairly sure I merged your mod correctly. I also tried this with the vanilla Dead Air, including only the English translation and the latest version of this addon.
Aside from that, everything else has been working just perfectly.
EDIT: Nevermind, apparently I failed the first time when making the fresh install for testing. The addon works just fine, and I only need to figure out what other addon the split feature is conflicting with.
Files dinamic_hud and xr_conditions inside gamedata/scripts. First one for the helmet effects, and the second file so you can pass in toxic areas such as wild territory without issues.
