When i start a server it said "W_armor, Is not found!" I really want to play this awesome game really bad!

... I clicked "New game" And it showed citadel. i clicked on it. and it takes me to a black screen with the menu still there.

Do you need half life 2 for this? cause i downloaded the fastdl file, and i clicked on the icon and it took me to steam store with hl2
