Not directly through the game selection, but you can do it through console. Liu Xian (the child Emperor) holds a palace and is playable at game start.

Are you using any other mods with the game?
Not at this time. I am happy for someone else to take that work on, but I'm currently in maintenance mode. The Sima clan is thoroughly written out to the 8 princes era, but the other lords/generals/ministers are not.
Not sure, the game is compatible with 3.3.3.
What do you mean fix the flags? And that's probably a lot more work than I'd want to put into it. :/ Why Qing yellow and Tang orange?
Glad you got it working. Please let me know what you think of the game friend.
Who are the Turkish tribes? What are they called in game?
Hey death! I don't know if you saw my Steam comment, but you can create Yong now. :)
I don't know about 3.31, this game is compatible with 3.32.
Mongolia and Japan are already represented through the Wuhuan, Xiongnu, and Xianbei peoples and the Wa people.
If you mean expanding the map, I don't know how to update the height map. If you know how to retexture the height map, then I'm cool with adding it to the game.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms is now on Steam. :)
Not sure.. I haven't tried since the 3.3.0 update.
What.... I have never seen that... Can you share screenshots and save file?
I've attempted to represent the Qiang and Di peoples (proto-Tibetan) and Xianbei, Wuhuan, Xiongnu peoples (proto-Mongolian) in game in as much as they influenced the Three Kingdoms. In terms of the map, the original mapmaker and I decided during our design phase to limit the size of the map, lest we endlessly include Japan, Mongolia, Tibet, Vietnam, Rome, etc. (we've had a lot of requests haha)
I added a lot of mercenaries for you. :)
Hahaha, alright. The mercenaries present are historical, but I will think of others to add. :)
The inheritance system in ROTK works differently than CK2. If you are independent, inheritance functions normally. But if you are subservient to someone else, then THEY decide what happens to you. In the case of the Han Dynasty, Imperial Gentleman/Scholars are sent out as bureaucratic representatives to replace local magistrates when they die.
I've not heard of someone losing their province for any other reason than death/defeat in battle. Or, maybe your liege revoked your title (and you passed the law that allows for title revokation).
I will try to do a tutorial on this sometime.
Do you know of any specific ones I can put in? I'd love to learn, thanks!!
I've tried posting on Steam 15 times without success. If you'd like to try, I'd appreciate it haha.
Love it... I mean... You could always try to grant those titles to the Emperor.. I wonder if I could do something there. I think there is a faction system the Chancellor could influence in the Emperor's favor...
Oh wow... There isn't a decision like that.... I guess because that never happened in all of history... There is a decision to restore an Emperor that was deposed, but not to give them your title... Interesting.......... Yeah, I guess that never happened in history!
Hi! Are you using any other mods by chance? And did you use the MAC or PC install?
I have tested a playthrough with Way of Five Pecks of Rice! And yes! You can form empires. Five Pecks (and the Yellow Turbans) has the same requirements for empire formation as the Confucians. Just need a certain realm size, amount of money, prestige, etc.
HEY KaizerIvan! Hope everything is well. Latest patch is out. :)
Hope everything is working for you now mate!
The latest patch is up!
Tonight! I've just been working on the latest patch to update for 3.2.2 and fix up some things. :)
Dang... The entire game is built around this succession system. The game wouldn't quite work if you took it out.... I'm sorry mate. -_-
I haven't actually tested with the Way of Five Pecks of Rice... Let me get back to you on this...
Hmmm, that's a good point. Thanks! I will make that change for the next release.
