This mod is such an amazing concept, and I've not seen it done as well with anything else.

It would be an instant classic in my collection.... but...

Why oh why does the HUD not work in 16:9 like Version 1 did?? This alone ruins the mod entirely which is very sad, and seems a huge error.

The lasers could do to have dynamic lighting compatibility, it'd be cool to see them glowing green using GZdoom.

The grenade launchers are also bad as they don't have explode on impact, and the fuse is ridiculously long rendering them actually useless.

And other than that, some walking sound effects, impact sounds of projectiles hitting the armour, and perhaps a tiny bit of scuffing at the edges of the screen to show an armour glass windshield would just make this godly.

I'm honestly gutted this has been abandoned, I wish I knew how to mod so I could personally fix it up!

I agree with others here regarding the sprinting. It would be nice to keep it restricted to tactical and allow toggling in other modes.

I noticed a bug on Mt Erebus too: When I was fighting a Mancubus it was flickering between its alternate sprite back and forth. I've only seen this happen once.

That's good to know, I can live with rare slowdown when point blank to the splatter knowing it's a known issue.

I can't say enough good things about this mod, I decided to try it out for a minute yesterday and ended up going to bed at 0700 after playing it all night xD

Can't wait to see where it goes, I can't see how it can improve much!

I rated it a 10, I really think it's the definitive way to play Doom.

Awesome work on the mod! I have to say it's my favourite way to play Doom these days!

I've got a quick question that probably has more to do with my settings than anything else, but I notice I get slowdown when I go near a lot of blood spatter on walls, I don't recall having this issue before. Any idea what setting could be affecting this anyone?

Congratulations on a fantastic addition to the brutal doom family. Whilst I love BD21 for different reasons and wouldn't change it much, this is a joy to play for its own unique features and the contrast and variety it brings to the table.

Imo it has the best gore out of Brutal Doom, Platinum and itself, the three best mods/forks/addons... whatever :P for Doom in my view. I noticed cool little things like taunting while holding the chainsaw: he raises his hand, gives the finger then grips the handle again in a smooth animation. Lovely little details in this addon.

What a time to be a doom fan, spoiled with multiple incredible ways to play the best shooter of all time. Never thought in 1993 we'd have all this!

One question, can you find the rifle anywhere or is it only available as a starting weapon?

That rate of fire on the pulse rifle is a godsend on hordes of aliens difficulty with your back to the wall and a horde of xenos coming at you. For lighter confrontations, remember: short controlled bursts ;)

I like the fact the pistol is hit scan, that's my go to facehugger killer for that reason alone.

The power loader secondary fire melts aliens and facehuggers.

One of the very best mods ever made, bravo!

I played as colonist first on hordes of aliens difficulty, I got so absorbed into the atmosphere and scared to death so many times I legitimately had weird dreams about xenomorphs lol. The game is so tense, and the sound, light, and level design so immersive that it really gets in your head.

Not many games I've played in my lifetime have had that affect on me, this enters an elite few like Silent Hill 1 and 2 for atmosphere imo.

Brilliant work, thanks so much for updating this for the fans. Can I ask, what is the "Modern" game start? And if I leave monster/weapon options at default can I still experience everything the mod has to offer, and get the unmaker upgrades etc.?

One thing that's always bothered me with every version of BD64 I have tried, including this one, is at the start of the first level I noticed the textures behind the grill straight ahead in the corridor go all warped when you back up to the door with the berserk pack. I've never delved deep into BD64 to verify if there are other texture bugs anywhere.

Any idea what the cause for this is? I have no issues using any other Doom mods, like Brutal Doom, Project Brutality, Aliens Eradication and many others with no glitches.

I just finished second site as mercenary on 'Hordes of Aliens' difficulty, what an experience! I literally had 2 health left at the end! After 2h 20 minutes of adrenaline pumping mayhem, 439 dead Xenomorphs littered the colony and my acid scarred body just made it out. My first impressions were great after just trying the game, after a proper session I now think this might be my favourite Alien franchise game ever after Alien Isolation...

I have no idea how you got everything so spot on and balanced! The action is great, yet it feels like a survival horror; always just on the edge of surviving but with guile and planning its not unfair. I quickly learned about setting traps, and tactical retreats to where I'd laid turrets down, those battles were extremely memorable experiences. Sorry to go on, but I'm just so impressed I'm honestly shocked.

This is one the finest mods I have ever played in my life. Seriously.

I recently decided to do AVP/AVP2/AVP 2010/Alien Isolation/Even A:CM again, as I am a mega fan of the franchise. Someone recommended this mod and I am gobsmacked. I can see how lovingly this has been made by fellow fans.

Bravo, I will donate to you at some point, times are hard right now but I want to support you guys for this.
