I wouldn't put much stock in the word of someone who says "Killing evil is not evil." and then decides that someone else's religious views make them evil.

In fact... I see a lot of irony. I'll let other people be the judge.

Let me address each thing:
1: Refuting racism is racist? And what do you mean by "special corner"?

2: The OP's edit uses screenshots from that sputnikov user. Just look again.

3: No one was a "Nazi" and nearly anything can be interpreted as racist anyway.

As for arguing in good faith, I'm not sure how a reddit thread using out-of-context quotes is somehow arguing in good faith. The point is, that user was one of the people claiming the server is full of Nazis while wanting to genocide religions. You wanted proof, you got it.

Firstly, the screencaps in that reddit thread, many of them were from *other* discords. Banning people for what they say on other discord servers is foolish, wouldn't you say?

Secondly,
We don't have the ability to stop racism. We can disagree with it and refute it, but we do not have the ability to outright rewrite the thoughts of other people. Ironically, pointing out hypocrisy of racism was actually used in that reddit thread and used out of context.

Thirdly,
A new user joined the server and started posting radical statements. This same user started to screencap the conversation using his own radical statements as "evidence" of TI's viewpoints. They were put in a timeout before the server went down. His account was not banned by discord. Here's a sampling: Imgur.com

This same user believes he can arbitrarily decide if someone is X group and justify killing or censoring them.

"do your twisted insurrection allow racism?"
We actually stated that we don't support racism. The reddit thread you're quoting had users coming into the server stating they support genocide on religious groups while acting like they're morally good people. They actively ignored answers and took answers out of context. Strangely, the user who said they wanted to kill people was no banned by discord.

Figured I'd point it out since its not really visible; there are infantry cave tunnels on the top and bottom of the map (where those pathways are) that lead into a flank of the opposite team's bases.

Additionally, the map has airstrips on the top-right and bottom-left that provide the player with an airstrike superweapon. The airstrips are not accessible without air transports.

They're 6 cells wide with lightposts on each side. Since they're likely to have unit traffic, they're supposed to be fairly wide.

This particular page looks like its related to Area 51... Perhaps there's more though.

I doubt they would abandon it, but i doubt there's anything like aliens or such. If there was, then a public announcement to rush the facility would just make them move it.

While I think the lack of resources may make for a slow game, I like the pathways through the forests in the corners. I expect people might try to flank through those.

Edit: Just noticed the blue tiberium on the other side of the rivers, that should help speed things up.

The mapmaker for this is pretty awful.

It is somewhat assymetrical. I would recommend it best as a 2v2 map.

There's a lot of effort added into every area in TI. The tile, any objects on that tile, and making sure it meshes with surrounding tiles makes for a difficult mapping process.

After revisiting TS, I noticed how lackluster a lot of their maps are. Large swaths of land are devoid of details, especially compared to the level of detail in TI maps.

It's still possible to make a bleak, apocalyptic world without everything being a barren desert. And even if it's a barren desert, it can still use the minor touches to make the terrain look more atmospheric.

Silly me, instead of improving the existing RTS games, we should throw all of the good things in the trash, implement Pay-To-Win systems, erase the storyline of the franchise, and encourage "gameplay" that requires you literally wait days to unlock the next stage of unit.

You're right, I have no idea what I'm talking about. I bet you do feel stupid for having this argument with me.

You are naive if you believe in EA. I think you summed it up quite nicely.

And EA has killed more than just C&C. It is the vampire of all publishers and is finally losing traction with the failure of ME: Andromeda, SWBF2, the likely failure of Anthem, and the inevitable failure of C&C Rivals. They only make money off of sports titles full of microtransactions from naive people and children who purchase them and think "This is as good as gaming can be" and mindlessly lap it up without any desire for innovation, improvement, or fun.

And as for C&C, people remember it being a good game and continue to mod it from those memories. C&C will not live forever and is indeed already dead on EA's side. However the people that like what was good about C&C continue to make other RTS games, like Grey Goo, 8-Bit Armies, Universe at War, and Star Wars: Empire at War. The C&C storyline was forever killed at C&C 3, but the games created a legacy of future game makers who continue to create more games since EA will not.

You can help C&C by actually buying a good C&C game and reminding EA what the series is. Sadly, EA doesn't care to make a good C&C game.

You also help by making things for various mods that keep C&C alive more than EA ever will.

I gave examples of mobile gaming that can be good, and these comments are posted in response to Rivals. Stop changing the subject, and stop acting like mobile gaming, especially in its current state, is good. Some people actually enjoy video games that don't require microtransactions and ludicrous amounts of investment just to PLAY them.

How much money is EA paying you to shill for their terrible game?

This whole topic is about how meaningless/terrible the new mobile C&C game will be. Of course we all know C&C is dead in the hands of EA. Doesn't change the fact that people would simply rather have nothing instead of this mobile game which further stomps on the grave of the C&C franchise.

I wouldn't be surprised if EA is doing this game as a tax write-off scam or the quite literally beg you for money in game.

There's also such a thing as a particular franchise being a particular genre. And that fans of that franchise don't want the genre to be changed for convenience of selling microtransactions for a mobile game, because it's an obvious attempt at a cash grab.

So, why do you have an issue with people saying mobile games aren't real games and that they suck when you basically just made that point? Your position is that mobile gaming is just generally bad and cannot be improved because it is the nature of mobile gaming.

Mobile gaming is typically fast and shallow, however that doesn't mean you can't have a pause button and some depth. Most mobile games do this where you just pick up right where you left off immediately, and some of those games actually have some actual depth to them. Pixel Dungeon is a great example of this.

And sure, RTS games do take more time on PC, but I wouldn't say hours. You'd have to be playing a very slow RTS match to take that long.

And the number 1 gripe, again, is microtransactions. Everyone knows that mobile gaming is just about creating a routine for sheeple to log in, update the "game" which has no gameplay, and be reminded that they can speed up the process for a small amount of money.

Mobile gaming in general is trash. However, this dumpster fire of a C&C game for mobile is even worse. It isn't a C&C game. It's a "King of the hill" Clash Royale, reskinned with a C&C theme that doesn't even follow the existing C&C themes.

And while yes, PC games can't be played everywhere, maybe its because of the general quality of all mobile gaming that has reduced the opinions of everyone to think that mobile gaming is crap. Do you know that an actual "True to form" C&C game can be made on mobile? It's easily possible by simply making a game that doesn't literally hinge on microtransactions, and plays like the existing C&C games.

Stop apologizing for the low quality of mobile games by assuming all mobile gaming must be reduced to this level of garbage.
