Just got 1.89.1 and I want to give some feedback.

The Good: Stability is much improved. AI is good and doesnt seem to get stuck on tier 2 much anymore. Things are overall very good.

However, as a Guard player I have to ask: Why do you keep nerfing the Guard when they need the opposite?

All versions of the Baneblade except the Stormlord need massive buffs to their damage/DPS. The Shadowsword is useless against Titans, for example, which is the type of unit they are supposed to be excellent against!

Why nerf the Leman Russ tanks? They were perfect the way they were before. Tough, and relatively strong, like they should be. I think they were great back in 1.88.71 I dont understand the rationale behind making them useless. The Vanquisher and Demolisher, among others, need their damage and HP nerfs removed because now they arent useful in the roles they are supposed to be used in. And why was the Murderer removed?

Why are the Heavily Fortified Walls so low on HP? Even with all the research done, their max HP is 93600 which is **** all. It needs to at least be 150,000 at the very least. Or, failing that, make them extremely resistant to damage.

Also, why limit the artillery range? They are ARTILLERY. They are SUPPOSED to hit from extreme range! Also why on earth nerf the Basilisk's damage? It already did **** all damage.

I really love this mod, but I hate that I cant play my favourite faction because their units do ******* nothing, including to the units that they are supposed to be good against.

EDIT: WHY on EARTH has the damage output for the turrets (at least Imperial Guard Turrets) been nerfed? They are ******* useless now. The Damage/DPS needs to be returned to what it was in previous versions to make defenses actually ******* useful.

why are defences constantly being nerfed?

reducing the health gain from research for the fortress walls is ridiculous.

And the limit to T3 turrets added in 1.88.731 is still ridiculous.

Both need to be rectified because races that rely on defences (like the Imperials) are getting nerfed for no reason.

Also, fix the damage output for Baneblades and its derivatives. They dont do anywhere near enough damage and at the moment they are only useful as bullet sponges.

EDIT: The changes to the defences is completely insane.

In the Imperial Guard, with the two game modifiers that give a total of 4 time more health to defences, you only get 54000HP for fortress walls (AFTER the fortress walls upgrade!) and 64800 for defensive walls (after the upgrade).

This is ludicrious.

Before they were much better at 220500 and 147600 respectively. It actually meant that against OP enemies (because balance in this mod is all over the place with some units doing too much damage and others not doing enough) the walls were actually useful.

EDIT 2: Anyone know what files you have to edit to undo the idiotic changes to the defences and the tier 3/heavy walls limits? I want to change the figures back to what they were as currently walls are useless.

I really like the mod, however the number of defences the AI builds needs to be massively increased to make them a challenge, especially for the Forgotten.

At the moment they only build a small number of defences.

I cant run either Skirmish or missions.

I just get a message stating that Yuri's Revenge has encountered a fatal error and needs to close.

I have run the 'run me first' executable and it states everything is properly imported and that the game is ready to be run.
