It's been almost a year since the last release. I hope everyone had a great summer. But I'm ready to crawl back into my foxhole. Any news on a new release? By the way, Steam and EAW work great on Windows 10 Technical Preview.

I think a map contest would be awesome.

Try going to the ModDB page. Moddb.com and scroll down towards the bottom. The are 2 different download sites, Mega and Media Fire. I am downloading from Mega right now, seems to be slow but it is working.

You have to start with a clean version of COH. Let steam delete all local content of COH Relaunch. Reinstall COH from steam, then install EaW 6.1.8 into your steam COH directory.

If you were getting 6.1.7 on the title page, then you probably still have the Desura install hanging around there. It still tries to install 6.1.7 - do not use it until Dartborne updates thier installer.

Works fine with my Internet Explorer. Running Windows 8.1 x64 with IE11. You can always try using Chrome too.

OMG - I must be blind and stupid.......I can't find 6.1.8 3rd beta test anywhere. I looked in downloads and found nothing. Can you Please show me the way, oh Fearless Leader.

Is Beta 3 uploaded? Forum is confusing me. Sounds like it is, but where would I find it?

I'm jonesing for the next beta or full release. You're teasing us wirh all the new stuff. Summer is about over, time for some serious gaming again. But we all do really appreciate the time and efort that you have put into this mod. Best mod ever!!!!!!!

Just go to Steam, create a free account if you are not already a member. Go over to "Games" and click with mouse. Go down to "Activate a Product on Steam..." and enter your C.O.H. product key. You will then be allowed to upgrade to the New Steam Version for free. End of headaches!!!

I'm dying for more maps and missions. When Europe falls to the Allies, will we be going to the Pacific?

Will there be a new installer included when the new version is released? I'm having an issue with Desura installing 6.1.7 mod into the old THQ folder and not the new steam relaunch folder. I completely deleted the THQ folder and Desura sees the new steam location, but doesn't use it.

Finally !!!! Sucess at last ! If at first you don't suceed, post it in a forum. These guys are smart!

It turns out my whole problem was a Security issue in Windows 8 Pro. I had to add full rights to all of my user alias on the Company of Heroes folder, then I was able to overwrite the old version 6.1.6.

With this knowledge, I first checked the permissions on my son's computer, added full rights and then unpacked the 6.1.8 Beta 2 right on top of of his Desura version of 6.1.7.

This new update is AWESOME !!! Though the Italians seem a little to strong. I got my butt kicked the first few Italian skrmishes that i played

I to have had major difficulty getting Beta 2 installed. Tried 4 or 5 times as well. I keep getting access denied error message when I try to unpack the file. Maybe it the wrong location. Is it the C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes folder or the C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\CoH folder inside the main folder where I need to unzip the files.

Sorry, but I clicked the wrong karma button. Going blind as well as crazy.. I completely reinstall COH and all the updates, then I ran the 6.1.6 installer. Good up to this point.

When I tried to extract the 6.1.8 beta 2 into my COH folder, it refused to do so. Said it could not delete previous files, so I tried to just rename them all to old.....file name. At this point I could extract the files. Once completed, the mod could be launched.

When I tried to play a mission (tried several different maps) all of my units appeared as light blue cubes. I could see the engineer's symbo but btheycuuld not move.

Still dead in the water, I rolled back to 6.1.6 and that works fine, Do i have to install Beta1, Beta1 Hotfix and then Beta 2? I've been pulling my hair out ever since Beta 2 was announced. Someone Please Help!!!

Failure once again! I completely wiped my Company of Heroes installation. Fresh install of Company of Heroes + all updates. Installed EaW 6.1.6 works fine. Then i tried to unzip the 6.1.8 Beta 2 into the CoH folder. This is where the trouble begins......I had to rename all the EaW folders before I could unzip Beta 2. The title screen shows 6.1.8 as the version. Once I try to play a mission, I get the lovely light blue cubes again. HELP!!!!!!

I must be brain dead. I removed 6.1.7 version. Reinstalled 6.16, though the installer said it was 6.1.5. Then i extracted 6.1.8 beta 2 into my company of heroe\ CoH directory. it launches, shows 6.1.8 under to EaW title page and i see the new IF maps. I started the IF Anzio map in a skirmish match I get these light blue boxes that say "Missing RGM!" What am I doing wrong?

I'm confused! I tried to install the 6.1.8 beta with no luck.. Do I have to remove the 6.1.7 update and go back to the 6.1.6 version before installing the beta? I just can't get enough of Europe @ War!!!

I am confused. Is the 6,1,8 update now available on Desura? I am hooked on Europe At War and thid is the only C.O.H. mod i reinstalled on my new pc. Much better than Blitzkrieg or Battle of the Bulge mods.
