SO I followed the instructions on installin this exactly but I can't get it to work at all. The game keeps crashing upon launch. So where exactly do I place the files? I read on a steam forum that some of the files have to be placed in the main directory as well as the bin folder? Is this right? Thank you! P.S. mod looks FANTASTIC!

For some reason once I restarted the game after downloading the newest patch, I get this error message when in Darkscape

Engine error. Last line in stack trace:
CDialogHolder::IgnorePause()+3518 byte(s) C:\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Lost Alpha\bins\xrGame.dll

Anyone know what this is? It's very frustrating.

Never mind the above post! I figured out the hud problem. But the snd_breath is still not engaging...Any advice?

Ok so I added the lines to the function update but I keep getting an error saying that snd_breath is a nil value. When I remove it and just keep the hud.checkmysuit I also get an error:

So do you mean add the snd_breath and hud scripts into the appropriate LA directory then open bind_stalker.script and add those lines?

SDK huh? I'll give it a shot an see what I can find(i'm super rusty on modding) But there has to be a way to do this. I did manage to import a few others, just this one is bugging me...anymore ideas out there? Cheers! :P

Awesome, AWESOME mod! Thank you so much! I was wondering, how I could bring in some of the parts of this mod and merge it into Lost Alpha? I already got the new tank suit into Alpha but now I'm struggling with figuring out why the mask hud and breathing sounds for the suits won't engage... I transferred all the appropriate files for he hud textures and sound files but I'm thinking maybe somewhere in one of the .script files is a line that engages it that I might have missed. Any advice on how to do this? Thanks again for this stunning mod! :P

Quick question, does it matter where I choose the output destination for the db extractor for gamedata? Is is the same as the game's directory? If I choose the desktop, to look over the files before I place them in game directory, is that ok? Thanks!

You know what's weird is that when I get the errors of the pmm and groza not having animations, all I do is pull the weapon out, fire it and then the game doesn't crash...why is that? Thank you for helping me out!
