I should think the main reason is the lack of modding tools, nothing really can be done without them. Its still good to see afew Tib-wars mods not jumping to RA3 even though the modding tools are not out. I'm hoping they will improve Tib-wars alot because its the only C&C game I hate atm.

Using the Mirrors Edge logo could be considered copyright. Am I right? Yes they could do something, but I doubt they will. To them this is might be like free publicity. This will never match the real game in any way, so I don't think EA will feel threatened enough to do anything. However YES he could be sued for using copyright material, that being the logo just to start with.

I believe Ubisoft had rights to the CryEngine 2 before they switched and made a new engine. The new engine has 3% of the CryEngine 2 coding in it, so it would be a good question to who owns this engine. Aside from that, Ubisoft felt that they had to make a new engine due to the problems if they had made FC2 on CryEngine 2. They made a smoother engine that is yes like Crytek's but is not. If he feels he knows better then Ubisoft let him remake it, I'm sure they would be interested to see what it would have turned out if they had of used CryEngine 2.

Wiki the Far Cry 2 engine, only 3% Crysis engine code is in the game. It uses the Dunia engine because Crysis engine required too much. So GL.
