Started Modding Games back in 2003 - spent long hours making maps back on Warcraft 2 & StarCraft back in the day. Changing Animations & Sound Files to the orcs and humans was what got me started on Modding games as an amateur hobby. I spent a lot of time making menu screens...tried to find pics from each actual Battle. When you're on a loading screen you can actually get a feel for what's about to happen in combat. There's a little history of the battle on each loading screen plus the location of the fight on the provincial map!

A few maps hold dear to my heart....Battle for Dong Ha ended up with the best Fog effects for a mid-day map. The fogs almost golden and mixes well with the skybox.

Ap Bac was my Fav for the Rice Paddies, lot of time spent huddled by logs/rocks in a muddy paddy with my troops trying to sneak up on the NVA watch towers. Remember the COMPUTER actually climbs the ladders and MANS the mounted machine guns....so its no joke crawling through that swamp. Plus Ap Bac had the closest actual battlefield setup.

Saigon Nights has an awesome off-road area where jeeps can 4x4, then go terrorize the city of Saigon :)

Here's most of the Menu screens from FORCEPACK MAPS. The intro screens contain a MINI-MAP w/crosshairs indicating where the battle took place approx.

The Battles summaries were taken from actual combat reports/summaries.

FORCEPACK tried to use ALL combatants (ARVN, SPEC OPS & OTHERS)

Numerous tricks were used in these maps including Tunnels tricks, AI Ace Pilots flying in formation, Calling in Air Strikes using SMOKE & much more.

Such a good old game, wish they would patch it one more time for modern windows machines :(
