I urge anyone who happens upon this page to try the mod, the improvements to the multiplayer gameplay are so much mroe enjoyable than retail, which after so many years without change feels stale. I must warn you, it does not contain matchmaking ranked support so you have to bear in mind games need to eb hosted in the general lobbies section.

I bought the game recently and one of the things holding me back were not that the game looks bad, it was that the old graphics make playing it confusing. I hope this and high definition texture pack makes it easier.

I tried using WinRAR, but it just comes up with the same errors that it could not find the installation path. Such a shame because I really enjoyed this mod.

I also cannot extract the mod by you that allows the use of extra memory. 7zip just says it cannot extract it.

I really liked the mod on my old PC when I played it and I have tried installing on my new one, but it doesn't work. I am using Windows 8.1 and extracting the folders to Programfilesx86/THQ/Darkcrusade but 7zip keeps coming up with the error "cannot output Titaniumwars to ...Programfilesx86/THQ/Darkcrusade..." I have the 1.2 patch installed but the extraction does not work. Should I extract it to another location and see if that works? I really enjoyed the mod and I want to paly it again.

Hello. I played the mod on my old computer before and I really enjoyed it. I was using 1.00.25 before and it installed fine. However, on my new computer, I am trying to extract 1.00.26 version to my DC directory, but it comes up with 50+ errors telling me in couldn't copy one thing or the other. I noticed that 7 zip says the Host OS is windows 32 bit, when I am running 64 bit. I don't think this was a problem before as my old computer was 64 bit as well, so I don't know why it won't work. I really want to play this again so can you help me? (By the way I am running Windows 8.1, in case that might be an issue).

Got it working, but same problem as many; the mod crashes when I try to start a game.

Tried adding that code courtesy of HorusHeretic but it turns out the game just doesn't launch with the code in. I really want to play this it looks like lots of effort has gone into it, shame that it isn't easy to access it.
