Hey I'm playing this in GZdoom and I noticed that the Zombiemen are sometimes scaling too large (about 2x the size they're supposed to be). Seems to be only if I run it with the mod that adds in Doom 64 weapons (D64WEAPS.WAD). Any idea how to fix that?

i would want this version if it comes with the 2 things the xbox version had that the pc never got:
-full lan coop support
-level selection

but i don't see them listed and i don't feel like downloading it just to find out.

downloading this now to try it out, but i'm hoping it runs better than opencoop - which always freezes and is super laggy.

i do have a question though; is there a chance you could port this to prey? perhaps even quake 4? but especially prey. i really want to play that game cooperatively.

This seems like a really cool mod, but I'm having a lot of issues with it for some reason and I'm hoping maybe someone can help. The most prominent issue is that the game seems to run at about half the speed it's supposed to. It seems to start off okay, but slow down after a few minutes. This is the big issue right here and if anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
The next issue is with the .exe file. It doesn't run the mod and instead just takes me to doom 3. I wrote a batch file to get around it:

I also noticed a few random crashes, but nothing major.
Enemies also only attack me about 1/6th of the time. For some reason most of them don't attack me unless I attack them first. Makes for pretty boring gameplay.
might be more issues, but the slowing down is the main issue. If anyone can help with that I'd be very grateful. Other than that the mod seems pretty solid. I'd really like to play this. But at half speed with enemies not attacking I just can't enjoy it yet, which is a shame.

oh my god. this is beautiful. hey quick couple of questions.
1, is there any way to get this to work with doom 64 ex?
2, is there any way to pick and choose which brutal doom aspects i use? i want to turn off certain things. namely, i'd like to turn off the brutal doom weapons. i don't know why, but i just like the original guns better. at least for the shotgun and such. also not a fan of the duke nukem weapons. however, i love the lighting effects, the fog, the enormous amount of options, the new intro level which is absolutely amazing (on a completely separate note, please make some more levels like this. i'd like to see a whole new campaign with levels like this one). basically, the mod is amazing. i would like an option to disable the guns though. just so used to the old ones.
3, is there a way to play this coop? i read something about multiplayer, but i don't care about deathmatch. is there an easy way to play the campaign with friends?

...think that's it for now. but yeah, this is amazing. good god. i didn't even like brutal doom for doom 1 and 2. this however, this is amazing. the atmosphere is so thick i can cut it like butter.

I am having a weird issue. The game works beautifully for about a minute or two and then just crashes for no apparent reason. I'm not entirely sure why, but it does it every time I boot it up. Super annoying. When it crashes it changes my desktop resolution and brightness so I have to log out and log back into windows every time this game crashes, making it almost completely useless right now - which is a damn shame because I really want to use it. Standard Quake 2 is ugly as ****, but this mod is beautiful. Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: I'm on windows 8.1, 64 bit, intel core iS 4460 @ 3.20GHz, 8 gigs ram, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti.
The only other programs I have opened are steam and xpadder.

I am curious to know if you are looking for any level designers, as I am familiar with the hammer editor, and enjoy making levels.

I also would like to suggest some enemies, as you said on the site you were looking for ideas. Considering the type of game your making, I would like to suggest doing traditional zeta reticulan aliens as the main kind. There's a whole mythology behind the alien abduction/ufo claims and though I don't believe aliens are actually abducting people, it would really make for an interesting game if someone were to add in elements from the mythology. There are numerous races that people report, from small greys, to larger greys, to praying mantis looking aliens, to draconian aliens, to cloaked beings, to floating beings made of light (apparently the leaders of the rest according to reports. Most people equate these beings to 'God'). The insides of the ufo's themselves are reported in great detail as well as the aliens.

I've done much research on the phenomenon and read many books and reports straight from the abductees. Again, though I don't buy into it myself I would love to see it in a video game. There has never been a serious fps game that's used grey aliens as the main antagonist, and I think that's a shame. This could be the perfect chance to bring the alien world abductees report to our computers.

I'd love to do it myself but I know nothing about 3d rendering, and I'm not great at texture creation either. However, as I said I know my way around the hammer editor, and on top of that I also am an electronic musician with something of a home studio and I'd love to help out with the music/voice acting as well.

Oh yes and a co-op campaign option is a must.
