At the moment, can't do that natively for Eternal like how Elite does it. If you are okay to learn some minor modding (relatively speaking), that can be done for only your game (and preserves online compatibility).

Hopefully we'd be able to do a game mode that is like survival mode, where you have a bunch of units to hold the line against enemies etc. That would be fun.

Unfortunately, LS is not what we have in mind to mod, as there is already the Forgotten Emerald mod!

Yes. DKOK DLC has been in highly requested (myself included), so Toast and Celt will add them as soon as they are able to, as the focus is on Chaos now.

You crazy man XD You truly want Eternal War don't you?

On your question, you can mod eternal to suit your needs (there's modding servers that you can access via Retribution Steam's guide). However, the devs won't support a no-pop cap version of the mod, due to limited resources and attention.

1. Firstly, we highly recommend you getting dow2 via purchasing it on steam. The torrent version uses an older version and of course, you can't connect to play with other players.

2. As of now, don't think you can play the mod without steam. Perhaps GoG version in the future, but Eternal is not compatible with it at the moment.

3. Due to Steam's online restriction for DOW2 Retribution, it has to be played online. Meanwhile, since GoG allows DOW2 Retribution to run offline, mods can be played offline. But in Eternal's case, since we just a custom way to launch it, it can't be used at the moment for GoG.

4. To help you, you need a legitimate copy from Steam. Recommending to buy it during Steam sales! (We do not support piracy).

Nope, Eternal is still alive. Just making the patch quietly behind the scenes. Remember, mod is being made free and the devs have their own lives. Stay tuned, we'll announce once we're ready to roll the new patch.

I realized its one of Viking of Wars map because I recently saw a screenshot of that one map with the Daemon Prince. You should ask him on discord if you're still around.

You'd have to go into the ebps of most units to do that and modify the time it takes for the bodies to stay. However, even if you did do that and release this mod, your version won't be compatible with Eternal's official version yeah.. so this made it clear.

Sorry, turns out it could be done to players using the Codex Mod, which uses a different way of doing things. You just need to reset your player_cfg.lua file (IIRC). Just make sure you set the option to remember your last hero as false and that should help. Cheers!
