This mod is an utter disappointment and ultimately a rip-off. This mod developer is the reason the 0 AD Lord of the Rings mod has been laid on ice. This is a tarnished mod fitting for a tarnished mod developer. No respect for this community. Mod developers were supposed to be our future, but this has convinced me of the opposite.

Yes, we do have some cool stuff that we haven't shared yet, but we had some time issues with exam season etc. and modding is very time consuming, we are also doing this in our freetime so sometimes me might decide to rather do something else for the moment.

Hey, thank you first of all for all this input, let me first say that we are an extremely small team (2) and that means that progress is going to be slow on such a huge mod, and if one of us needs some time off or is not available for some time, we aren't able to continue until that person is back. We have thought about all these factions you've mentioned, but for now we will focus on the bigger ones like Isengard, Gondor, Rohan etc. As for following the design of tolkien instead of weta's, we are very inexperienced and this is the first mod we are making, it's easier to have some kind of reference pictures from the movies to model these things, so we will probably stick with the movie's aesthetics.

It's going to take some time, since we are a little team and do not have that much experience, but we are certainly planning on adding dwarves, elves, and Rohan to the mod. If you go to images you can see which factions we are planning to add!

Indeed 2941 is the year in which Sauron's return was finally aknowledged by the White Council. Yet in our article "Welcome to 2941 A.D: Fall of Middle-earth!" we explained that this mod's content will reach from the beginning of The Hobbit, to the end of The Third Age, so basically Return of the King. I see why this can be confusing but in this case the discription just serves to give the mod a little bit of a backstory and depth!

Thanks! Gondor is definetely on our list of factions, we are currently working on Isengard, but we will update you all when we start working on other factions.

The Orcs are being represented by Dol Guldur, since we have established that in time period in which this mod is set, Sauron operates from Dol Guldur as "The Necromancer", also we just wanted to change things up a bit and Mordor is the standard everywhere!

Currently we are making our own models etc. but we will keep that in mind thanks!
