The age is 2941 in the Third Age, Middle-earth has long prospored since the Battle of Dagorlad, in which Isildur, son of Elendil and the High King of Gondor and Arnor defeated the Dark Lord Sauron. But the realms of Men, Elves and Dwarves forgot their purpose and the Servants of Sauron roam the lands unchecked. Rumours are spreading of a shadow growing in the old fortress of Dol Guldur, rumours that The Enemy, Sauron, has returned. Middle-earth is being plunged into darkness once again, but who will stand to defend it? Men? Elves? Dwarves?
