I wasn't aware of the engine limitations for the settlement models, in that case putting Numenor closer makes sense, hope you at least tried to put it as far away as possible without bugging out.
As for the forest, I guess it makes sense from gameplay/aesthetic standpoint.
Personally I always prefer sticking as close as possible to the source material, hence the nitpicking.
Good luck with the mod, overall I quite like what I see so far.

Hi! Mod looks great! A bit of a feedback about the map itself:
Numenor appears to be way too close to Middle Earth, in the lore it was situated roughly in the middle between Valinor and Middle Earth, it is also too close to the Bay of Belfalas in terms of latitude as it should be a bit farther down south. Is there a particular reason why you placed it so unnaturally close to both the continent and the bay? I'd recommend moving it substantially farther away from the continent and a bit farther down south.

PS. The forest behind the Grey Mountains in the south also appears much larger and denser in size than on the official map, might want to trim it down a little bit.
