Some of these changes were unexpected like the Space Marines nerf, but I can see why this was done. Plague Marines for example are super tough, as they should be, but at the tier in which they become available other races don't have the tools to deal with them I think. Personally, I would rather have units deal less damage so the battles last a while longer. Right now it seems like my units die so fast. Look away to do something at my base come back and dead. Usually killed by something I don't even have vision of. Although I play almost exclusively Tau and Eldar so that is probably why. I'm thrilled that the Charge and vehicle ability for Tau is fixed! Keep up the good work.

I uninstalled all mods and addons with their .exe if they had one then deleted everything that wasn't regular soulstorm stuff. Used Steam to verify files. Installed THB Protocol, THB, Race mods, and finally 1.8 in that order. Also, I loaded up the game and started a skirmsh to make sure it was working after uninstalling everything and after reinstalling THB and each of the other mods. I noticed before i installed 1.8 patch I had working hotkeys in THB. I didn't reinstall 1.73 or any other addons besides the races.

I did some house cleaning and reinstalled. Now I have hotkeys. idk thank you though :)

Since the hotkeys were perfect in 1.73.9 is there anyway that I can copy that config over to THB locally without going too deep into code?

I don't think my game is updating with this patch. The install seemed successful, but in game I still don't have hotkeys for any buildings or run!!! move is bound(Q) stop is bound(V) build is bound for builder units(B) and that is about it. Also, the version number for the mod at the main menu says 1.8.554, build 452 after installation of the patch.

Where is the best place to report and/or view bug reports?

I'm having some trouble with hotkeys in THB. I really liked the way they were mapped in 1.73.9 ... It's hard to describe. Basically, in the builder menu after pressing "B" (which is a hotkey and does work) the building hotkeys I am use to no longer work (Tau) and there is no tooltip for the (new?) hotkey. Any ideas?

Okay thanks your post prompted me to dig a little deeper and it turns out all my questions were answered in the FAQ or in the description above XD figures.

Personally, I did not overwrite the objective points .module when installing IDH and my game runs just fine. Although, I am realizing I haven't tried to play the IDH mod.

I successfully installed the protocol :-D !! that being said I have another question or two in regard to how we will run THB once it is installed. The instructions here have us run the Windows Command Script to start Soulstorm and verify the install. Will these same executables be used to run THB? Also, is the Main Menu screen we see currently, after running the Races script, going to change once THB is installed?

I'm stoked to get my hands on this THB madness! I've watched most of the gameplay videos from the alpha/beta so far and it looks great. Basically I just want to tell you your work is excellent! I check this site regularly, but I have never posted and I think you guys deserve more from me. Also, selfish plug, I am currently educating myself in software engineering and would love to be a part of this team. If you're ever interested in bringing someone new into the project that is. Cheers
