It was a good mod, until I was stuck in a puzzle level, where it looked like the developers hated the player: puzzles to solve, invincible enemies, having to crouch all the time, no weapons, no way to defend from monsters... A mix of Portal and HL, with all the stress and no fun at all.
I had to use cheat codes to finish this section while maintaining my sanity. Kudos for being the less fun experience I had in years of gaming!

Apart from the section, this mod is quite good (although far from perfect). My vote would be 7, minus 1 for that damn lousy Portal-esque section.

Confusing, allied NPCs in the way most of the time, maps with dead ends and no indication of goals or exits, and sometimes you don't know where to go next.
Amid all this, a bit of fun :-)

Not finished, it became too frustrating and no fun.

It's obvious this mod got a lot of care and details, but in the end I found it annoying and boring: most of the time you try to figure out puzzles. It's less HL2 and more Portal, but not in the fun-Portal-way. I just stopped playing around the second chapter, with yet another annoying puzzle (the crane and gas box one).
You might enjoy this mod if you love (lots of) awkward puzzles, claustrophobic rooms and passages, and the occasional shooting. But if you're looking for a true HL2 experience, avoid this one.

Good beginning and end, the rest is "HL2 business as usual". Average gameplay, not bad but nothing special either. Some puzzles had me scratching my head, though :-)

A hodgepodge of many, different maps - without rhyme or reasons. Some will be consistent with the HL2 universe, some won't; and you'll go from one to the next without knowing why.
There's no story worth mentioning. It's just following linear paths, shooting everyone and some puzzles.

If you have an itch for shooting, you'll find plenty to like. If you need something more, you'll get bored soon.
Lastly, there's nothing in this mod about HL3; nothing to do with HL2 story.It's just lots of maps, loosely based on HL2.

I have to say the author really did put lots of passion and work into this mod. Several levels are big and beautiful; gameplay is mostly fun.
What a pity it doesn't offer more than plain shooting.
