DownFall is a Half-Life 2 single-player mod taking place in the White Forest surroundings. You 're once more putting on the HEV suit as Gordon Freeman. Your mission is to recover a newly developed technology by the resistance, known as the "citadel buster", before the Combine manage to destroy it.

Though this mod isn't fully complete, its really another great mod experience with the Half-life feeling. Short, but sweet. I also love the new music that's been added in, get a very half-life vibe listening to them. Can't wait for the next chapters, really great mod. Keep up the awesome work! :D

Half-Life 2 - Episode 2.5
Half-Life 2 gameplay in its finest form. Thin on plot, but the visuals, gameplay, and level design is Valve worthy.
The AI feels more dangerous in these spaces, which are open and sometimes give the impression of choose-your-approach battles.
Highly recommended, I can't wait for more.
DownFall is an excellent mod. Apart from a few performance issues, I did not experience any major bugs while playing this. It's a shame this was never completed. It's a really great mod that had so much potential.
i was expecting a bit more gravity gun fun based on the trailer, and too short for my taste. looks clean and well optimised tho.

Best mod I ever played, I wish there was more chapters
This has Gordon once again revisiting similar locations to the base game but also included is a lumber mill. This has challenging combat, a tense encounter with antlions, but also gives the player enough health and ammo to dispatch everything.
The best mod I've ever played. Very similar to the main part of the original game. Everything is perfect in it. Although I found a minus-its duration. The end ends at the most interesting moment. Thank you marnamai for a wonderful mod.
