At this point in time we are just working on a proof of concept demo before creating the whole title. This is so we know everything will work. We hope to have the trailer/ demo ready by the end of the year!

its simply a mental ray ambient shader, I didn't increase the spread enough so it stayed very white, my bad :P

It will feature base building just like every other cnc, crawlers may be implemented in some form. But no pop cap no, and if you mean TCN capture points to win, no they won't be included either.

The reason people make mods is for fun, skill building and their passion for the series. What C7 posted up was not in any way our plan, yes we were and still are planning to move to an FPS hybrid, but our gameplay mechanics and ideas were not put over to the community in a way that anyone would say its a good thing. The community shouldn't be annoyed that we are doing what we want and think the series needs, as nothing is stopping anyone else working on their own mod. The reason we want to move to the UDK is down to many things including compatibility. A lot of us use Maya or an updated 3DS max, meaning we can't easily import models, animations and shaders. The UDK gives us access to a more up to date engine and more scope to add what we like. Yes there is a lot more work involved but that only means the finished product will be better. I'm surprised that the community is so close minded to any change, we want to use some creativity and have fun, not just remake the same old units and designs. It gets boring and tedious and as we don't get paid for it we stop doing it. This entire thing is a joke, and as soon as this mod gets archived the better, a few of us will be moving on to a new project and if you want to support it go ahead, if not then don't.

Tried to bring the texture back and maybe give it a more realistic feel, its not perfect and needs fixing up which can be done in time. Tried to mix the moving of time in the cnc universe with its old heritige in tact. hope it worked :P
