it's free for hl2 mods, and has some pretty good hosting options, plus, it's a network, so you get your stie promoted without ads, just a small network bar on the top of your site. I use it, and it's nice :D

Well, I have a big update for today, and its something that will help this mod quite a bit.
First off, I've been offered hosting by origin network, so We might start hyping this mod up a bit, and we might build a community. :)
Also, I've been going through tutorials for a while, and now I can model weapons and players :D So we don't need another, and I'll remove that help wanted. So now that we have our modellers, we are gonna get to work and start posting some stuff up on the main page and here in our photo gallery.

But!
We still need:
A coder (even though the sdk hasn't been released, we want one so when it is released, we can get to work)
Player/Weapon Animators
Player/Weapon Skinners
Texture Artist
Sound Techie (we won't need that until our models are skinned, animated, and ready)

One last thing. I've been thinking about it, and there are hardly and cel shaded mods out there! (buzzy bots is the only one I can think of)
So I'll talk to Kel, and we might get in to some cel-shading to make this ultra -cartoony :)
If not, it'll still try to be as unrealistic as possible.
Also, I'll post the weapons/class list on a news post in the near future, and I'll try to fix my scanner to upload my 3 concept arts.

Aww, I wanna see some of the MS staff online some of the servs! I can tell you guys the status of my silly pyramid map while pumping fruit into your bum! :D

There is another team member, whose idea this mod is, but I'm gonna check with him to see if we are just doing penguin factions for the teams, because polar bears vx. penguins would have size complications in maps :P
I'll keep everyone up to date.

Oh, also, we have a weapon modeller, so I'll add him to the team, and hopefully he'll be able to do some good stuff :)

As soon as HL2 is released, then we can get serious. One of the problems I know we will face will be map and weapon ideas :P
We have about 6 weapon ideas that I'll post once I get some decent concept drawings. I'm glad people are taking an intrest in this mod :)

It wouldn't be that much harder. I am gonna take my mod to HL2, because it will probably be pretty similar to HL.

The SDK isn't released yet. It's supposedly gonna be released before the game hits store shelves.

Read the subject. I felt like doing this, because this mod won't be around long if we go with the half-life engine, since it's being replaced soon.

New patch came out for it recently, addind secondary weaps. so I think I'll stick with that til this comes out :)

Umm, you know, this mod is based on a game called 'Half Life'. Counter Strike just didn't appear like every other game. It's a mod of half life too. These mods aren't built on a 'counter strike engine' :P

This is probably gonna be a sweet game, but I bet half of you didn't even play half life single player, and are calling this game sweet because of modding capabilities :S
If you are gonna buy this when it comes out, don't expect mods for a couple months. Instead, PLAY SINGLE PLAYER.
