BaS had an updated on 13.05.2021, but it only modified saiga weapons ltx files (nothing got deleted/added), so i'm not sure if it will cause any issues, although it's worth mentioning just in case.
The update is available to download in changelog section via GDrive
You don't have them because the actual sound files come from Blindside's Pack, however i still am unable to figure out what's causing the glitch. I have not a single clue what is going on with this engine that it decides to randomly set these sounds to play at certain locations.
I know but i have no idea what's the issue here apart from that the sounds come from Blindsides' pack. I've tried changing multiple things and i have actually noticed that it's more of a location based than action based issue. It's as if the engine ****** up something on the location loadup (i.e. when crossing between locations) and plays these sounds in certain spots almost like a background sounds.
I may end up removing them entirely and see if that fixes this.
What program are you using to crop the images? Cuz when i used GIMP2 it gave all the icons, from the modified file, a white outline.
I've checked in Debug mode and everything seems to work fine. However there is in fact a custom silencer for BaS PM (Silencer PM). I don't know in what order you had installed addons but installing Blindside first and BaS on top of it could solve the issue too. It may as well be just a single isolated case due to other addons you have.
Which versions/optionals have you installed? The thing is i do not touch these parts of ltx files, which means it's probably a mistake in BaS itself. I have already fixed a couple of glitches in current BaS release myself, i'll check on that issue too and maybe implement your "fix".
Did you actually use the "literal idiot" section of the guide? Cuz most people downloading my addon never mention any issues with the installation process, apart from few single cases when someone uses my addon on top of old BaS version or drops everything there is in the archive and then cries about errors... I think the guide is pretty clear for anyone who had ever installed any mod to a game, although if i got a serious feedback about that, i'm willing to put more details into it.
There might be couple of w_XYZ_ltx and HUD_animation files overwrites**. This basically means that if you install Blindside first, you will have BaS versions of these, and if you do it the other way around, you will have Blindsides' versions. If you don't really know what you are doing tho, i guess it's wiser to put BaS on top of everything else (considering how big of an addon it is).
In my install guide i've written out the order i have used myself, but i'll check the other way and maybe change it later.
**Although it doesn't really matter in case of w_ltx files, because my addon replaces them with modified BaS ones anyway. I may just include BaS hud_anims from meshes folder into my addon and this way it won't matter at all what you will install first. Or just make some "optional" features considering this.
I did not touch anything in HUD part of any shotguns' ltx files. Just the usual stuff. In my game i can't even put that scope on saiga12s_m1.
To be honest i've noticed this myself. In my case it was actually a generic "pistol_holster" sound (i had PL15, which is using this sound, equipped at that time) but i have no idea what's causing it. I tried to recreate this in Debug mode and it doesn't happen there. If you find out anything useful about this, let me know.
There was a new update for Food animations... oof :v
In this case the conflict would be with BaS itself, cuz Groks BO alters weapons_ammo.ltx file, however the changes are only to the values, so, in theory, you should be able to install this without a problem. I don't guarantee anything tho.
Just remember to change '4to1_tracers' to 'true', unless you want star wars firefights.
The icon for new silencer added for ISG AKs in BaS is missing. I didn't really look deep into it, so can't provide much info. Sorry :x
EDIT: I've checked and it's simply not included in your ui icons file.
have you installed BaS 19.03.2021 Release linked in the changelog before installing my merge?
oh no... i wonder why is this so, maybe because you actually did not read a single thing neither in my addons' changelog/updatelog nor in BaS'
The changelog says it's 1.26.5 but the pack name is still 1.26.4, which one is it then? :P
i was like "ok, im using JSRS, BaS, Blindside.... time to make a comp patch for this". My man, imagine my surprise when i opened this pack. 10 for the effort.
BRUH
I haven't updated it for march 4th yet, i was waiting for Mitch to actually announce the update on Anomaly Discord, but i think he eventually didn't. I'll prep a fix shortly.
Everything mentioned should be fixed. Some things may be different from original BaS, also in terms of particles, especially weird *** muzzle flames.
if choose not to use latest version, then you have to solve existing issues yourself
how bout reading update notes and installation guide? >.>
these two:
B&S JSRS Sound Merge HollywoodFX Compatibility Patch
B&S Patch After JSRS Part 3
are now completely obsolete/useless
Let me know if it still occurs in current version. I've checked it myself in debug mode and it seems fine.
I do not know the author, although i have checked the contents. The idea is the same, the way it's done is slightly different and less agile in terms of potential changes or additions.
why would you use extra patches? Just install BaS, then JSRS, then my addon.
yeah i know, i've been sick for a past week and these are like 2 last weeks of my semester too, so i'm basically both barely capable to think and college busy. Will update in the future for sure tho.
I thought there was some kind of regeneration if you keep your character in good shape food and water wise, it just seemed very very slow.
