Lately with this new patch, It seems the teams are usually even but theres still lingering doubt about the fairness. Then again theres always something to complain about. I happen to be fine with whatever comes out. Just as long as theres still people to play it with, I'll be happy

I've been a big RPG fan for years. With something like this planning on coming out for HL is a refreshing alternative to all the FPS's (while still mezmirizing on their own). Though I agree, it might look better on UT2k3 engine.. and HL is getting old.. But why pause things for that? I say let it come out no matter what. I'll stick with it.

Theres a whole debate about there being a huge advantage on Marines Vs. Aliens. To put an end to all this, the answer is simple. THEY ARE PERFECT.

Aliens are and can be monstrous.
Marines work as a unit, fierce.

It all depends on whos playing and if they know what they're doing or not. When played correctly, and the teams are even, These two forces are evenly matched. Unless you've got a commander who doesn't know what they're doing, teammates that don't cooperate, etc (I'm sure you know). Other than that, its a great, Must have mod.

Fileplanet DOES NOT make you pay to download. Thats only for express servers that have no waiting for the que line (So yes, In away it does have you pay, no big deal). Just scroll down to where it has the servers that have the "Estimated Wait time: <#>minutes" and click download. Then "Lets Go" then just wait for your turn in line.

BFP is an AWESOME mod.

Its hard when players start whining for crap. like "I'm in <location>". I don't know exactly where they're talking about. That call button isn't used too often and by the time they figure it out, its too late. It takes up alittle time to do that sure, But if they have the time to type complaints or requests, then they should find the button so Com can jump to them.
teams are usually uneven, more being on the Marines side because its easier in some aspects. I personally think that the aliens have abit of an advantage seeing as how they get individual resources and theres no confusion when needing things
