edit: nevermind
Hey why no space fleet commander?
I guess. I just want those ARCs back!!!
=(
I got a gameplay problem.
At tech lvl 4 we get the ARC-170 fighters which are awesome. They're fighters and bombers. But at tech lvl 5, we lose them to V-wings. V-wings are cool, but we lose the proton torpedoes that the ARCs provided and we are left with the standard Republic bombers.
Suggested Solution: At tech lvl 5 keep the V-wings, but replace the standard Republic bombers for the ARC-170 so we can keep them. The standard bombers just can't really keep up with the higher level fighters of the CIS late game.
Thoughts?
Not exactly. I faced the biggest fleet two days ago and had an incredible battle. The CIS had 3 Lucrehulks accompanied by 13 Providences and several droid carriers and 4 Recescant. Luckily I had 2 Star Destroyers, 3 Victories, the Pride of the Core, and the rest of the pop was Venators. The battle lasted about 30 minutes. One Lucrehulk was in the front because it spawned there; I got lucky. But the other one was WAYYY in the back so it was one of the last things I killed. It took a LOT of microing to deal with all of the fighters and bombers. And the Providences alone are a bitch to take down...
The CIS fleets are usually probably 2 Lucrehulks and like 6 Providences when they attack my space stations. Even a level 5 with 3 Venators can't deal with so many ships. No amount of microing can.
But she WAS in the Micro Series. That was her first video appearance as far as I know of.
Can we adjust the size of some of the maps? I got demolished on Sullist by a CIS fleet of like 3 Lucrehulks and 8 Providences with some Carriers. I got outgunned, whatever I understand. But my problem was that the CIS captial ships took up so much room the spawned basically around half of my shipyard. I had no time to call in my garrisons, move things around, nothing. Just fighters and bombers all around....
BTW, Provinces...omg.sigh....
PS, what does easter egg mean in this case? I checked the manual, it covers nothing...
Galactic Marine in Expansion number 2 then? =)
Hey I have two things.
Where do I report a bug?
And the other is a balance suggestion. It is to increase the population of the Lucrehulks by one. Here is why. Currently, given 24 pop, you have the choice of either 8 Venators, sounds good, or 6 Lucrehulks. I'd rather take the Lucrehulks in that scenario. But let's examine if the pop is increased by 1. Given 30 pop, you can have either 6 Lucrehulks or 10 Venators. I'm split on that one actually. I'd be content with either one. Thoughts?
I've gotten a couple of exception errors when trying to save my game multiple times. Has this happened to anyone else?
I would actually like to reaffirm my earlier statement.
ALL of the CIS ships have a large amount of hardpoints. The Republic does not have anything with that many, even the Venator.
Having lots of fun, AI can be super hard early game as Republic in GC, but it gets easier as the days go on and you advance in tech levels.
My only complaint is that the Munificent Frigates are sooo tough. So many hard points on it, so many turrets. I cannot find a good way to counter them. On top of that, the AI likes to mass em. Sad face.
Thank you. I wish I had this at first. I figured it out on my own after messing around for like an hour after I posted it actually. Mr handy-man over hurr. =)
Z, I'm having trouble installing RaW and I can't read the installation guide because it is for Microsoft Word and I do not have Word. Sooo.. I'm kinda left to do this on my own and am having troubles. Can you help me?
how do i do this? im so down if it is easier
Ok, so I installed it into the mods folder for FoC. But the problem is that each time it loads up Forces. I've fixed this before, but I forgot what to do.
Ok, so I put the RaW folder in the mods directory in Foc, and then I launch it. When it gets to the RaW loading screen, I get an exception error if I were to minimize the screen. Did I leave out a step? I had a hard time finding the installation instructions.
He's around Indianapolis. So Eastern I think.
IDK, but if you count the Malevolence's ion special weapon, Mandator might be outmatched... (keyword: might).
I WHOLEHEARTEDLY APPROVE :D
oh, I had to look her up. Interesting. Did you play/ complete SCII? And if so, thoughts on campaign and ending?
Is your prof pic of Sarah Kerrigan? If so, I wholeheartedly approve.
Cheese? Mmmmmm. I could deal with cheese.....
Since you mentioned the Republic being harder to play, Tonarion, is the payoff of playing a mean Republic yield greater results than the CIS (atleast in theory)?
Good point. I guess I should have clarified by saying the IAII GC campaign, not mod.
So how many of you have played and/or liked the Imperial Assault GC?
I have a question for the testers: does IAII come with your version, and if it did, are you guys playing it at all? Or just RaW?

I guess I'll tell a little about myself. My name is John. I live in St. Louis, Missouri. Saint Louis sucks. There's not much to do. If you ever want to visit, here's the things to do: Cardinals baseball (awesome), one of the 2 or 3 major free zoos in the country and it's really good, Rams bad football (ughh), the Arch (which sucks), annnnddd, that's all. I'm 19 and next year will be heading to college =D . I'm going to go to a local university, and most likely getting an art degree, but I'm still on the fence, but luckily I still have time to decide. I love video games, my first system was Playstation. I currently have an Xbox, my gamertag is RustyHunter in case anyone wants to add me. My first RTS for the computer was Red Alert 2, which was amazing in my opinion. I like sports, games, art, my cat, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, sleeping until 12, and much more.
