BTW, starcraft 2 beta has been officially started. I downloaded the starcraft 2 beta client but I only managed to get as far as to the menu screen and the option screen xP

This is probably because the system requirement for starcraft 2 has been released although the actual game hasn't. System requirement can be found at Starcraft.incgamers.com

I believe this is because when you run things in full screen, your comp doesn't need to process graphics for other applications which may be on the screen when you don't run it in full screen.

There is no new mod. Aple only changed the name of the mod from APLE'S EDITION to 5.27.3

For those who are having troubles with the new version of the mod. Using version 1.15.1 no longer works properly. For mod to work properly use version 1.15.0

Make sure you use broodwar version 1.15.1 for the mod to work properly.

Cool vids. Thanks. This looks like the most recent version there is (but not released yet) seeing the most units got updated graphics/mechanics (marine with shields, new hellion, thor's siege ability thingy (although this got scrapped in current build) zealot charge etc)

Just played the mod you found predator. I was impressed at protoss teching all the way up to colossus. Sad thing is that lots of my favorite abilities got removed such as colossus/banshee/mothership spread damage, stalker, reaper, and hellions being removed completely, no more terran command center addons, etc. Only if so much abilities wasn't removed it would have been perfect xP

Make sure in the next patch, you give ultra 600 hp since thats what they got now. They also cost 300 mineral and 200 gas with 40 atk. Only if I was good with modding I would help but since I'm not, I can only give you suggestions. sry T.T I don't even know if some of the things I'm suggesting is possible with sc engine.

I don't think it is possible to beat the dark AI unless you choose them to be terran or protoss since these 2 don't tech up. If you choose computer to be zerg, you will just get rushed by group of zerglings/hydras before you even have your 6th marine built. It would be nice if there is a specific AI for this mod that works for all three races and is not impossible to beat without cheat. :P

as I said before, you can try using ion cannon in starcraft: New Age mod for planatary fortress. Also, is starcrafty gonna help you make the AI? Cause I heard him say he got some experience with making AI. This mod will be perfect with its own computer AI and not the dark AI where computer can beat me in like 3 minutes (although its better then nothing) XD

Every new unit model (hydra, probe, nullifier, and dropship) looks much better. Thanks for continuing to develop this mod. :D

Downgrade your broodwar to version 1.15.1. THis mod doesnt work well with the current broodwar version 1.16
