Hope you guys will find the funding for this! It would be a shame if the project would stop here.

As interesting as this project was, I think it's for the best to abandon it and move onto something else.

I just don't think this was really going to be the best way to play Black Mesa on a low-end computer. Making it run on GoldSrc would just make it feel too different from the original. And porting high-poly models over just doesn't do wonders on the framerate I imagine.

If you really want to play Black Mesa on a low-end computer, I suggest you rather turn all the settings down, as well as using some handy-dandy console commands and autoexec scripts which are wildly available online.

I do wish you guys the best of luck on your future projects, and I'm looking forward to covering them someday!
