Right but does GZdoom support drop-in-drop-out coop like Zandronum does? Last time I looked into it, to do coop on GZdoom you had to set the game for the number of players expected, and they all had to be present at the start, if I'm not mistaken.

Are there any plans to get this working with Zandronum so that online play can be done with Doomseeker?

Sorry for the late reply. I have not tested this, but you can certainly give it a try and see.

One more thing I thought of: the music I added begins with Stage 1, not the intro stage where you're storming the base (I saw no need to change that one).

Also, if you downloaded something actually called "Doom64Musicpack" then that isn't my file. Not sure where that came from, but mine will be called "ZD64MUSIC"

Did you first unzip the file you downloaded? Make sure the file you put in the Skins folder is actually called "ZD64MUSIC"

Just a small suggestion:

As it is now, if I try to copy my existing GZDoom settings file into the Castlevania folder, it just gets overwritten when I run the game, which is too bad because with other games such as Heretic, Hexen etc, I could just move the file over and my control settings would be there.

It'd be nice if your game would use the file in the folder without overwriting it. I did notice it puts the "Simon" name in various places in the settings file. Maybe that's the reason (or part of the reason) it's overwriting the standard file? Just a thought.

OK I played just a little bit of the first stage with Brutal mod, seems to load fine but without playing through each stage I don't really have any way of knowing if there are technical difficulties later on. I say give it a shot and see how it goes.

Yeah it's not very obvious. They should have included instructions. Anyway, here's what you do to make a shortcut that launches the game with the mods you want used. FYI, I did this with ZDoom but I think it works this way with any of them. First, get all the files into a folder together with ZDoom or Zandronum, or whatever you're using. Then make a shortcut to ZDoom and put it where you want it. Rightclick that shortcut, click Properties. In the Target field, keep the existing text and add a space, then type:

-file DoomZero.wad DoomZeroHQMusic.wad

Click Apply, and OK.

You can also add other mods the same way, just type them into the Target field. Mine with the Brutal mod looks like this:

-file DoomZero.wad DoomZeroHQMusic.wad brutalv21.pk3

Hope this helps!

It says not compatible with mods but I'm going to try it out anyway and see how it plays. If it seems to play well I'll let you know.
