How to delete the old version of the mod before installing the new ? Should I uninstall Delta Force Black Hawk Down Team Sabre all together, then reinstall ? Or can I simply delete a few files to remove the mod before installing this updated version ?

Yes, the folder/subfolders were set to "read only" then I changed all that, yet the problem persists. Not sure how I would unlock it from a read only state. Perhaps a reboot ? My first attempt was to install the mod to a copy of the vanilla game but I had the error. So I decided to re-install the game on another drive completely and try it on a fresh install. Yet I still have the same outcome. Very odd. I'm baffled at this point.

Could it be because I'm using the "War Chest" version from GOG ? I think my next endeavor will be to hunt down my old discs and try to install to the original Allied Assault before the expansions were even thought of. That means I must go down in my cold clammy cellar and dig through boxes and totes that no human has seen in decades and get bitten by spiders as I catch pneumonia and die at a early age. I hope you feel guilty. HA! j/k. I'm just puzzled here.

They are not installed in the suggested path. I have numerous hard drives. One is installed to F:\MOHAA and the other to G:\MOHAA.

I never install games to Program Files.

Installed this on Windows 10 on a fresh install of GOG's War Chest version. When starting the game the loading screen freezes with the error "your hard drive is full, unable to save game". So I close the error and continue. Then during the training mission it freezes with the same error again whenever the game automatically saves. Therefore I can not continue.

I have over 10 TB free on my hard drive. The vanilla game, which is installed on a separate drive (because they have separate save files) does not give this error.

Any ideas ?

This is exactly what I have done 2 seperate times now and it still says v1.5.1 on the main menu screen.

Guess my next step will be to reinstall the complete game and see what happens.

Funny thing is...This is a fresh install because I never touched it after installing it.

EDIT :

Odd, but a fresh install, then update did the trick. It now reads v1.5.2 in the main menu. Strange since I never touched the install I had before.

The version number in-game after this update still reads 1.5.1, is this normal or did it not install correctly ?

Thanks for the reply but I think I may have found the problem. I'm a idiot. I think I forgot to click the bat file after I put everything in it's place.

Either that or it possibly has something to do with the versions of One Unit Whole Blood. I had the problem with the newest version of it from GOG. Yet when I installed it to an older version which has been on my pc for 10 years or so it worked fine.

But if I had to wager a bet, I'd say the chances of me just being a forgetful idiot are pretty darn good.

Newly installed One Unit Whole Blood GOG version, then NBlood, then this Mod, and I get a couple errors during gameplay which I do not believe is normal. Maybe you can help me out.

When starting the game I get this after the pulsating "G" logo ...

"Missing sound #10056 used in ambient sound generator #900"

Then after the game starts I get this ...

"No sequence animation ID 6740 found for custom dude 1197"
"Sequence based to 6740"

Outside the door is a regular Cultist instead of the weird masked guy I seen on youtube. Not sure what is happening here. I've uninstalled and re-installed the complete game several times with the same results.

How to make it run in full screen ?

Thanks, I got it. Simple enough fix I stupidly didn't try to begin with. Everything is fine now and looking great. All it took was adding the dGVoodoo/DirectX/Miscellanneous/ Fast Video Memory Access option and there it is. Everything looks great.

I've owned the disc version of this game ever since 1998 and the Anthology as well. This is the first time I've been able to actually play it. A big thanks to you hip63 !

One more thing. I also checkmarked the Force vSync option but not sure if that did anything at all to fix it. I'm too busy playing to check at the moment.

Hello, Thanks for this but I'm getting a strange graphics problem. Everything is white except for the cockpit. The outside of the planes are white and the ground textures are very bright and mostly white.

I've had this problem once before using dGVoodoo with a old arcade game called Master of the Skies : The Red Ace. In that game I fixed it by changing the DirectX / Miscellanneous option to Force vSync in dGVoodoo. It has no effect with this game though.

I only tried the "Fly Now" option to check the game. I chose the Spitfire.

I'm running a Radeon RX 480 8GB Graphics card on Windows 10 64bit.

Any ideas or tweaks I could try ?

I've been somewhat occupied with the holidays and haven't had a chance to chime in on here. Thanks Fat-Larry and Modred for the information. I did try Fat-Larry's advice, yet I still suffered from a ctd when starting to fly the mission.

The mouse in menu works great now though.

I think the crash might be due to the fact that I did not try it on a fresh install of the sim. I used the older one which I've been fiddling with. That or it's not installed on an internal drive. Not sure.

I'll be trying once again after the holiday ruckus is over.

I am using a Razor mouse from ibuypower (manufactured by Microsoft). Running Windows 10 with Radeon RX 480 Graphics (8GB).

Tried all your suggestions to no avail. But thanks for the tips.

Weird thing is I own the original European Air War on retail and it runs without any problems.

I'll keep experimenting and if I find a remedy I'll post it here in case anyone else should run into the same problem.

Hello. I have no mouse cursor on the main menu, therefore can not choose anything. I can only hit escape on my keyboard to leave the game.
